I might be completely wrong about this but I have a funny feeling that some of the saving accounts are run by one of the Irish Banks so that might explain the question. (Try phoning before you go out in the morning)

Have fun with the survey - it is a work of art even by RE standards. (especially as all that happened in mine was being handed a brochure )
That's right. At least one of the savings accounts is run by an Irish Bank so it is not as daft a question as it seems.

It's a pity that GAP doesn't do these anymore. I won't do them for RE on principle as it's twice the work for half the reward:mad:

I wont be doing another - one pointless question after another.......I am hoping that GAP will still have some of the smaller ones. I wouldnt even bother doing my local one as is.

Correct. The Growth Bond and the Instant Saver (possibly others too ) are with the Irish bank
Not covered by the UK protection scheme. However they are covered by the equivalent Irish scheme.
The Post Office staff should know this.

My understanding is NS&I products e.g Premium Bonds are guaranteed by HMT and the British Government. PO products are backed by the Irish Government.

Not really, fees are part of the client confidentiality we all agree to when we sign up. But generally I find they range from £0 (ie reimbursement only) to £10 for typical jobs, some will have slightly larger fees for longer/more complex work but certainly in my experience this is rare.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I saw them last week, managed to get one and then received a nice email welcoming me to the 'company' panel adding I should see them all in future. I'm female and 53.

Same happened to me...I'm female and 47.

Has everyone got the latest email from Bare?

They want us to apply for a credit card and then give them our confidential login details:eek:
