Mystery Shoppers rely on the company they are working for being reasonable. Over the last few months of me working for you, I have realised how daft your burgerjobs are. This has led to huge increases in the bonuses that the burger flippers are paid, as they know when to expect a Mystery Shopper (who "leaks" this to them, I don't know!), what they will order, and what they will ask.

Subtlty is very important to Mystery Shopping and it should also be important to you.

If your assignment isn't realistic, and subtle, my results not be of any value to the burger company, because the flippers realise that they are being Mystery Shopped, and so, put on a floor show.

Every month GypBurger decide what menu items are to be purchased during GypBurger's assignments. However, it seems that these decisions are taken globally, so the latest offerings in our country often cannot be ordered. Again, this makes us reasonably obvious to the flippers.

All GypBurger restaurants are equipped with CCTV. This is to help the flippers identify us when they get their Mystery Shopper report back. They will go back through the CCTV footage, to the date and time that you visited, and identify you. They will then taken a still-capture of our face, and stick print outs in the flippers' working area. Further, if the report was critical in any way whatsoever, the flippers will look for any way possible to discredit or dispute our reports.

If you have any queries as to how to make these assignments more of a mystery, please feel free to ask for feedback from your shoppers, instead of constantly berrating us.

Did you actually send this uk or is this a wind up. I once mystery shopped a well known MS'ing company. Surprised they actually thanked me and explained a lot of why they do and what they do.

13 jobs for Sat?? OMG what time are you starting?? Well done on getting all those jobs - I would find that amount a few too many for one day personally but maybe I'm a lightweight!!

See, there are good people out there, and maybe we should focus on helping these people rather than the plebs on the MS world (maybe thats a little harsh?!)

Good for you Matt. I have been reading a lot of posts complaining about the reduced fee for pub jobs. Yet most in my area have been snapped up. Why oh bloody why. I assume it is newbies who havent realised how low the fee is. And you have to answer 106 questions, upload a receipt plus give a summary ( why when you have answered 106 questions. Why not make it a summary only.

Have some people so little pride they will accept any crumbs and obviously RE think it OK if people are still taking the jobs. I assume it is not posters on here (Glasgow area)

If in the unlikely event it is posters on here perhaps they could explain why they have taken the jobs as it undermines us all.

As for Gyp I did one job and made a loss of £7. Pizza delivery. Why do people take those jobs too. I am beginning to think some people are prepared to Pay the companies for the privelage of doing these jobs.

Oh what a pity. I would have applauded you for taking a stance . I phoned a MS#ing company with a similar message so hopefully we will all benefit as they were very sympathetic. I obviously cannot mention the company as I promised them I would not post the conversation on the forum

Didn't mean to offend you pet. I was referring to ones which coast the fee in petrol getting there as they are 14 or so miles from Glasgow and not even on a bus route.

I was asked to do this and then mine was cancelled too , however this was just over a month ago and not just a few weeks ago so I am not sure if its the same job .... I was given a valid reason why the jobs were cancelled but of course , with respect to the company, we are not allowed to discuss their business ...
