As paul said, only GHDs bought from their official list will be genuine. Otherwise they will be fakes, especially if bought from China.
Genuine GHDs will have a hologram of a womans face (older generation) or a pair of straightners (IX and higher) and will have a product code that can be registered on the website. Also, philips head screws will be used on genuine GHDs, not flathead, and you can tell on the instructional DVD too... they imprint GHD all around the edge.
You will get suspended if you are found to be selling counterfeit goods, so it's worth contacting GHD if you think you may have a forgery, and they will be able to let you know.

Fake GHD's .....
A lot (99%) of the companies you come across offerig GHD's do happen to be fake, normlly the best way to tell is via the price! GHD themselves sell only via approved websites and its VERY hard to get onto their approved list.
Yes a lot of electric goods do happen to be made in China (Far East) but again 99.9% of these companies are selling fake goods.
I would say stay away from GHD's - I would also be very carefull of selling via dropshipping on eBay (ebay do state that you have to have the goods with you (your location) to sell them) and you will find that other users will report you.
Now back to Drop shipping, I used to sell on eBay / Amazon / and lots of other places, but now have my own website (not that hard to do) and the money I would have spent in eBay fees now gets spent in Google Adverts - and I do tend to make a little more then I would have / did do with eBay.0 -
