Cranky - glad you and the small ones are on the mend x

Melz - welcome to the thread x

Taplady - glad the wedding went well, pics please?! x

Redruby - cracking news about the house, hope you find something you love quickly, or would you consider moving into rented until you do so that you don't lose your buyer?

Well I've put stuff in bm and done some washing and started to S&S the kitchen, now keeping dd3 company and watching telly in my bed with her!

Must tell you about my daft neighbour, he is more than a little eccentric and over exciteable, but generally harmless, anyway, oh and I arrived home last night after I'd collected him from work, and neighbour popped out of his front door, saying "can I just ask you something?" Apparently he'd heard a noise in the middle of the night - actually 12.30am - and looked out of his window and thought we were stuffing a body in the boot of my car! Actually we were helping my friend out of the back of the car who had imbibed one too many drinks whilst we were out, and there was a bit of groaning as we encouraged her to move! What sort of person would think we were putting a body in the boot, and why on earth would he think I'd own up if I was?! OH seems to think that somehow I picked him as a neighbour and just kept rolling his eyes, all I could do was keep laughing at the lunacy!

Not sure what I'll do today, apart from washing some bedding. DH will probably want to mow the grass (can't really call it a lawn", it's too lumpy:p) I usually go to church at 10.30 as i'm in the choir but we're having a break during August, so I might go this evening instead.

Dinner will be pork shoulder from the butcher, roast pots and veg.

Sorry this is such a boring post :o Will try to dredge up something more interesting to say later :D

Haven't posted for days, so sorry I'm not up to speed with everyone :o (hugs) for those who'd like one.

Really came on just to wish Pink a very Happy Birthday :bdaycake: (well I know you like a drink as well as cake :D;):p) Hope they spoil you rotten.

I'm rushing off to Church in just a minute, it's my turn for coffee rota so I have to get that set up, then after Church we're off to family for a BBQ, so no cooking for me :j:D Thank goodness it's a beautiful day today, but boy did it rain yesterday  Didn't have to water the pots there was so much, whereas usually I water them even if it rains because it never seems to get into them enough.

I'll try to catch up tonight, depending on how late it is, and how much vino I've consumed :rotfl::D Have good days all. CM x

Morning peeps - up and feeling quite a bit better today...so far! (((hugs))) to poorlies. Bitsy - I can understand how your DD feels as we haven't had cough/ sore throat symptoms but have had aches, temp and general unwellness. For me that included not really being able to switch off my mind so bits of sleep rather than solid sleep. DH has been on tamiflu but I haven't as I haven't felt ill enough. I'll keep away from everyone until it clears. I did read that there is only one pack of those per person so if it's not diagnosed properly then there is no more tamiflu for you. Anyone else heard that? There seems to be quite a lot of it here in East Anglia.
    Ok, enough of that!
Sun shining here and I've stripped the single bed I was in. DH has been too hot to sleep with. So, WM on and sun shining.
I threw a load of 'stuff' into a big pan yesterday and made a hotchpotch sausage casserole so that is lunch today as well. There is some frozen cooked chicken but it's still on the carcass and I can't be bothered picking off the meat right now. Meals for next few days will be interesting.
Ruby- nearly forgot! Well done with your house!! How fantastic. We've been on the market since the end of May! They say that it doesn't take long to view a house you like and that has certainly been the case with your viewer. Good luck finding something just right for you.
Ok, off to water the plants in the garden and get some fresh air.
    Have a lovely Sunday

eeek - not with it...ed to add a big cake.....:bdaycake: Happy Birthday Pink
