Evening all, just back from giving blood for the second time - I am getting very good with needles now, I used to pass out every time I had one but Im dead hard now! :rotfl::j

DS still poorly, took him to the doctors tonight and he has a water infection so another bout of antibiotics, he hadnt had any for years and now 2 lots in 3 months, poor boy.

Working tomorrow morning but have the afternoon off because it is DD's nativity, she is an angel this year and is dancing so she is very excited - cant wait!

    See you all later x x x

Afternoon all, have a quick 5 minutes to myself while OH is taking DD to a party and DS is looking at his dinosaur book.

Not much movement on the debt front at the min and probably wont be until after christmas but as we paid MBNA off earlier than expected we are still on target to clear MBNA by January maybe at the beginning rather than the end though.

DS loads better now, he was really poorly Thursday but picked up Friday and seems back to normal now. Hope that is it for him now so he can enjoy Christmas and fingers crossed DD doesnt pick something up now.

Starting with the christmas panic now that I get every year, next week seems really busy and I am working as well so even less time to do everything.

Big deep breaths needed methinks! xx

No need to panic.....if you have pressies for the kids and some food in then you are set..nothing else really matters....Kids don't notice what you do or do not have..lol..everything will be fine.

Evening everyone, feeling a bit calmer now I have most of the presents bought and have even started wrapping (I have been up till 4am Christmas morning doing it before now!) Going to mum and dads for Christmas dinner so dont have to worry about food - thank god.

Bit of a disaster yesterday in a shop buying presents and my debit card snapped in two, bit of a panic because I cant access my money  but luckily have been saving up to pay off Npower and had about 300.00 in the house which *should* be enough to finish off buying presents and do a food shop to last me to the new year - clearly the DFW gods had decided I had done enough spending for one year :rotfl:

Hope everyone is well - off to catch up xxxxxx

Had to laugh at the debit card breaking..you must have used it too much..lol
  • I once did something like that years ago when i dropped my debit card in a bucket of water- i was mopping! Went to get my purse, tripped and purse went in..lol.

Just wondered if it was cold enough for you Pingu! :)
