    Hi L,

Best of luck for Weds interview, sympathise with the nerves, i thought i was going to be sick!!, but looking back it really wasn't as bad as I was expecting. OR was considerate and understanding and sure they will be for you too. If you need a break just ask, when I became tearful he was really kind and rang me back after 5 mins so I could compose myself!!

You will feel a relief when interview is over, we are all here for support.

    Hi

Just wondered how people are getting on since going BR in August?

For us it was all fairly quiet to start with after the interview but just lately have had a fair amount of correspondence from the OR.

We have now bought back our life policy for £50 each. Had a letter informing my DH they are not interested in his personal pension, just waiting to hear about the army pension now.

We have been offered the BI in our home for £1 each plus costs (just trying to raise that at the moment!!) although we still dont know if we will be accepted for the Mortgage Rescue Scheme we have applied for.

Hubby will be paying a nil tax IPA and we are sending his payslips to MB, although the nil tax code hasnt been implemented yet.

All in all the practical side seems to be going ok, I still have down times when I wish we never had to go BR and I still seem to get quite emotional about it all. But perhaps thats just me :o

    Hi all

Just bumping this up in case there is anyone out there who went BR Aug 09 and may want to update on their journey?

Things have been quiet for us lately, in fact have heard nothing from the OR for a long time. Hubby has paid his nil tax IPA to Moonbeever and his file was transferred to the RTLU back in Jan 10.

My file is with the NDU and again have had no correspondence.

Cant see us getting ED as we only have about 15 weeks left now until AD.

Still in our home as waiting on Mortgage Rescue application.

Emotionally things are a little easier but still seem to have more down days than good :( This forum has been a lifeline and I have learnt so much from others advice and info. I try and post to help where I can to give something back and it probably sounds silly but I always feel reassured when I see familiar names cropping up on the threads :A

Keep up the good work everyone.
