Hi everyone, welcome to the August 2009
Bankruptcy & Debt Relief Order Club.

This club is for everyone who has gone through the process of Bankruptcy/Debt Relief Order during August 2009. So please feel free to join and post.

Pop your name on here, the date that you went/are going Bankrupt/DRO and the stage that you are at in your Bankruptcy. And then just keep everyone in the club updated throughout the next year about your journey through Bankruptcy. That way we can all stick together and compare notes and we will be there to support each other throughout the different stages in our Bankruptcy/DRO.

Remember this is your board so keep posting.

Obviously anyone can come on here and post anything that will help us all and you are all welcome. Any important questions that do need answering are maybe still better posted on the main board but if you do put it on here, then maybe we can help each other.

Hopefully it will be an extra place for friendship and support as we compare notes and discuss what is happening with our Bankruptcies & DRO's.

Hi
I'm hoping (hoping? is that the right word?) to go bankrupt on Wednesday. My court has a drop in service and I have to ring the day before to make sure there is a judge sitting

Hi Feelingfoolish, hoping is the right word because you wil get back some hope for the future after you go bankrupt. I understand your feeling nervous but you will find that the courts staff are very helpful and understanding and not judgemental, you may not even have to see the judge on the day. For most people it is nerve-wracking but after a few days, the sense of relief will kick in and you will start to feel much better. Best wishes for Wednesday and am sure it will go well for you.

AD 18th august....10days to go. Yay! To all those starting the process, its really not that bad, and a huge relief once its done, and you would not believe how quick the year goes!!
