Clueless but looking for new mobile!

Could anyone advise me?
I don't use my current mobile a great deal. Mainly texting and some short calls to both mobiles and landlines. I am currently with o2. I pay monthly and am on their simplicity tariff £9.79 150 mins 300 texts per month. I'm 25 and a bit of a fashionista. Would love a Blackberry but to be honest it would only be for posing and I don't want to pay more than £15 per month so at this stage it would be a waste of money. I am looking for a cool phone that looks fashionable, good video and camera capability. I know this sounds a bit vague but if anyone could suggest a nice phone for me or a good network to be with I would be really grateful. I would also pay up to £75 to upgrade if necessary, although carphone warehouse looks like they have some pretty good free upgrades. I really am clueless at this stage - must sound like a right bimbo! But I have had a bit of a stressful life over the past couple of years and having the latest trendy phone has been the furthest thing from my mind, however I've just realised on nights out etc, my trusty pink nokia is looking sadly outdated :undecided. As you can probably tell I'm sort of easy prey for the mobile salespeople right now and am relying on you kind people for advice before I set foot in a phone shop!

IMHO, Blackberries and iPhones are too big.0

I rung Vodafone and had the Tocco (5mp camera touch screen) phone, plus 300 mins x net and unlimited text for £15 per month which is £5 discount a month from their website price.
However if you go for one of their website deals you get £90 cash back, depends how important the phone is.
Downside it's a 2 year contract.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

Thankyou!
At the moment, I think the best deal seems to be with o2 for me £15 per month 100 any network mins and unlimited texts which is ideal for me. There seems to be some better looking deals with talk mobile but I don't know if this is a good company.
With o2, I can get the following phones that I like the look of for free;
LG KP500 Cookie
LG KS360
LG KU990 Viewty Lite
Nokia 6303 Classic
Samsung S3500
Then the Samsung Tocco Light For £40
The Nokia 6600 Slide for £45
Anyone got these phones and could recommend them?0 -

The Tocco light is the model down from the Tocco which you can get from Vodafone for free on £15 per month with more minutes.
The Tocco light has 3mp camera against the 5mp camera on the Tocco.
Also Vodafone have summer roaming so it's you can make and receive calls & texts from most of Europe from your inclusive allowance with no connection charge.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

Thanks, Poppy, is it just the normal vodaphone number you call for this?0

Yes from the website. Ring and say you were offered the Tocco on £15 per month with 300 mins and unlimited text but wanted to look at the phone etc. Ask for free delivery too and ask is that the best phone they can do on £15 per month as I bought it for DD beginning June so deals change.
There is an even better Tocco Ultra but I couldn't get that out of them!
If you want to take your number with you then ring and get your PAC code and they will do it when you order your phone.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

Thanks so much Poppy, will look into this!0

The Lite would be my pick out of those phones- however I'd buy the phone outright for about 100 quid and then add the SIM only deal of your choice. I personally wouldn't entertain a contract deal unless you are going for a high end phone:).0

Elj, I am also thinking down that line! I am doing research into both. I am thinking about perhaps buying an unlocked phone (The one I REALLY want I can get for £150) and using my sim from my o2 simplicity plan (which I can cancel anytime). I will have to save some money for a month or so though. The more I think about it, the more I don't want to be locked into a 2 year contract. Ah, decisions, decisions!0

Be aware that Carphone Warehouse don't lock their phones so I'd buy it from there if it's available- may save you a few quid.0
