My tomtom has died - Any suggestions?

UPDATE No2
It's died again!
started playing up while using (voice repeating every street name 30 times, screen going off but could still hear it) Now totally dead.
Checked my tomtom online account and on my repair it still has the status awaiting payment.
rang them and advised it was repaired under warranty. They are sending me a box and bag to return it and if it fails again they will replace with a new one. no mention of the "awaiting payment"
For advice if anyone in same situation.
