    need a positive action plan

    Hi Shaun

    :santa2::santa2::santa2:
Perhaps you "peaked" a little early :rotfl:.........all this dibbing and dobbing over the last few weeks has kept you busy and focused......but you have been working your little hooves off....so now ,maybe you just need a bit of a "switch off" for a couple of days to recharge your baaaaatteries?

I used to be able to go for months hurtling around getting things done to deadlines and when I hit the last one and realised I had a bit of leeway before the next one, suddenly my brain would shut off and I'd sit and read and do nothing for a couple of days because I just couldn;t do anything else.

The action plan sounds like a good idea as it concentrates on ewe stuff - but perhaps it should include a treat - something for you to enjoy (after all how can any of us addicts ENJOY giving up smoking or coffee :rotfl:)

cut down on coffee this is a hard one

I've switched to decaf, and the problem is it normally doesn't taste as nice as normal coffee and they charge more. Anyway tried Tesco Classic Decaf Rich Roast, and to me it doesn't taste any worse than the Nescafe and Kenco decafs, and it's a fraction of the price. So it could be worth a try.

You could switch to decaf coffee, most people don't notice any difference in taste. Good morning to one and all and pass the satsumas, it's nearly Christmas.

    blah......rather just cut down

That's an awful lot of changes to make all at once Shaun  hmmmmm you think so??

I thought I'd cut out fat and alcohol ( like smoking that is :naughty:) alongside Hypnos regime.
I've cut down on both, but not gone without :o so I'll join you on improving my health too. (arthritus meant I couldn't wrap presents on the floor last night :o I had to drag everything to the table) yep know that one,,i have more problems and pain from the arthritis than from the knee

I only drink 2 cups of coffee a day - do I have to cut that? er,,,no i think 2-4 tea spoons a day is reasonable
I only ever walk as far as the car :o
park the car further away,,,,i parked 4 mins further from the school today, so took 10 min their and back and to make it easier on my hands, i walked the baby and left the pram in the car ,,,slower but better all around

as for parking we all park as close to the entrance of shops eth as we can :o

so now i will add in
park car at the furthest point away from the shop / shopping centre as is safe to do so,,,,so getting a little more exercise each trip,,

any shop with in 6 min drive equals a 15 min walk for me,,,so ill walk
my problem is i can only carry light stuff ,,even a lt of milk is to much to walk home with,,,need to plan well
    thanks for all the reply's

Morning mister, I must agree think you peaked a bit early too. After all you have all the shopping done with only the food left to sort. Well done, hope the hands are a bit better today. Ive started to suffer that now (must be my age) seems to be the joints under both thumbs! Seems to depend on the weather as to when its painful. Do you take any pain killers or just suffer in silence?
Good on the walking from the shops too it all adds up :T

Shaun - get on the website for your nearest supermarket that does a delivery service and order all your Christmas food in one fell swoop. Or don't they do a supermarket delivery service in Paddyland? In which case I would be snookered as I try and avoid the big shops in the 2 weeks leading up to Christmas. Still, give yourself the weekend off and have some chill out time, then get cracking again Monday!
