  • 30% is a massive hit to your budget Shaun :o. Where would we all be if we hadn't discovered MSE.

I agree with Olive, we are going to get hit hard here too. We'll be tightening our belts until we all have 16 inch waists :p.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

On the bright side, our "maturity profile" means our debt is longer term and matures further out, so we can ignore reality for longer.

Or is that the dark side?

    need a positive action plan

cut down,, stop smoking this is a hard one
cut down on coffee this is a hard one ,, drink more water doable

take 15 / 20 min walk everyday even when its wet and cold,,this is doable as go to the shop every day to get bread and milk, the problem is timing between school run babies breakfast, lunch and his naps, and 2nd school run,,need to make it a habit

do 10/ 15 min exercise in the house,,simple sit ups press ups and stair steps...doable

eat more friut and veg need to make it a habit
eat less bread (toast) need to find other snack food

That's an awful lot of changes to make all at once Shaun

I thought I'd cut out fat and alcohol ( like smoking that is :naughty:) alongside Hypnos regime.
I've cut down on both, but not gone without :o so I'll join you on improving my health too. (arthritus meant I couldn't wrap presents on the floor last night :o I had to drag everything to the table)

I only drink 2 cups of coffee a day - do I have to cut that?
I only ever walk as far as the car :o

You could switch to decaf coffee, most people don't notice any difference in taste. Good morning to one and all and pass the satsumas, it's nearly Christmas.
