One of the most useful tips from this thread for me personally has been the Nestle Picapac (£2 worth of non-internet mocs in each £1.19 pack). The
So, my point is - do you think it would be a good idea to have a section on the top page for mocs inside purchased goods such as this?
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I suggested this ought to be on top page back in May - was told this is a PRINTABLE mocs thread and so I shut up!!

You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)
If you use the "search this thread" button at the top of the page, you may find it's been answered already!;)0 -
Probably "old-hat" for many of you, but remember if you find a "useful" thread then you can go to thread tools on the top MSE bar, and then subscribe to thread.
That way by going into quick links on the MSE bar you will always be able to get to your preferred threads quickly whenever you are logged in...even if on a different computer.

As the expiry date is so long away, I'm loathed to just throw them away at present - but in reality don't see my ever popping over to Ireland to spend them- I'd willingingly give them away - but don't know of any suitable channel to do so! But as I say, the idea of throwing away an in date coupon just goes against all my bargainista principles!!!
Hi

I couldn't bring myself to throw away the euro coupons and have a pile of over 100. So I too would value some advice as to what to do with them. They're worth about £40.Ageing is inevitable - maturing is optional0 -
Hi everyone,
Been to Mr T's and guess what?
I got an apology from the DM!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek:
He was standing behind me at the till I was at and I instantly thought, oh great here we go
He came up to me and said, "I am sorry I never ment to make things difficult for you. I have put a copy of our detailed coupon policy behind each till for you. If you ever have any problems again ask them to read it"
I nearly fainted, I can honestly say I was gobsmacked!!!!
I said to him "Yes you did make me feel uncomfortable and I was highly embarrassed at times"
He said he also saw my email I wrote to Sir Terry & the reply (which believe me I detailed every incident especially about him):eek::eek:
So I can now shop at ease at my store thank God and I am so so glad I followed everything though so thank you to everyone for all the support.
I hope my experiences for newbies can help and reassure them that if they stick to the policy to the tee, be polite and keep your calm, keep a note of your bad experiences, you will hopefully get the end result that I have.
I feel quite proud of myself (a shameful boast sorry):o :rotfl:

Quick question please -
Warby's promotion - if you get a FREE item moc, how do you know how much it's worth?
In this case it is a free pack of Anchor 250g - bar code 9915301450007.
Do I have to buy the product? If I don't buy the product do I have to provide evidence to the SA as to the value of the product?!!
Thanks.
Hilly

It depends on the SA, on the free items, if one has to purchase the item... with my regular I, generally, just tell her what the price of the item is w/out buying the product... also I normally check my prices on .com & make a note @ the back of the voucher... however, if the SA/store wants 2b 'funny' then u'd have to purchase the item AFAIK... Well done. :j
My local store wasn't the best to begin with and it got better slowly but I'd still hav probs now and again.
Now they all seem to have had some training on mocs, my usual SA said to me last week - we can accept one of each unless you buy the product. Woohoo I thought, I can go to any SA now - yeah right. I get treated like a criminal now. Yesterday was the worst, huffing and puffing - cant take these they're duplicates. Told her I'd bought the products that why - she was not happy. She ended up moaning to the customer behind me.
Oh well its a good thing I got a thick skin.
Went to CS to get my duplicate vouchers refunded as they wouldnt scan (she wouldnt non scan them - said she couldnt do it) and DTD on nectarines.
£55 shop after offers paid about £27. So not bad.
I've only been using moc's for just over a year and I recent got my mother into it as well, she loves it. My dad doesnt understand until she tells him he gets free beer because of it. :rotfl:0 -
Hubby done quite well at T's recently .. only one semi trout out of 4 shops..
However he had to pop in ASDA today and got trouted big style .. He spent £6 and gave a 50p coupon When Mega Trout came along and said you cant give a 50p coupon of a £6 shop .. he asked why? Had the policy changed from 10% she said no but you have to give me exactly 10%as he did not have a 60p coupon she would not let him use the 50p one.. How Daft Is That..
