So if someone wishes to keep coupon-use away from their CC, then not using the CC is the only answer (if I'm wrong about this then I apologise).

PP as far as I know there is a barcode on your receipt which they scan at customer services when they add CC points retrospectively. Which basically means that all the info on the receipt (iems purchased, coupons used, etc) is recorded against your CC.

I think ur completely right Lori, the reason why the barcode is scanned @ the CS desk when pts need adding... also, unless one shops many times a day or uses many different stores per day I don't c why there'd b any problems on using the CC?I shop twice a wk @ my local & the supervisors know I use coupons so even if I didn't use my CC they'd b able to c my transactions @ store?
...anyways, why not use OH's/Mum's/Dad's etc's CC to rotate the spending (of coupons of course!;)) onto different cards? Thus one does not loose the pts, gets the rewards AND receives the mailings with offers...;) also as mentioned b4, we couponers, do spend quite a lot @ T's albeit using coupons to pay which T's get reimbursed anyways...

Can't see probs using CC...you are only doing what they alllow in the their coupon policy...if all are in date etc..I don't break the rules...I'm very open about my coupon use and am on good terms with manager, deputy manager, CS,checkout supervisor and most SA's now...most call me by my title and surname but quite a few actually use my Christian name now...I've absolutely no probs with them knowing who I am at all,....even the plain clothes security blokes passes the time of day with me...I think it's nice to speak to so many nice peeps when shopping.0
