Surely you are joking? I have never seen a store where they don't put coupons into the till or straight into a pod for the cash office.

Forgive me for asking all these questions, but how do you know someone used over a thousand pounds worth of coupons in a week? Are you staff at that store or something? Whether you are or not, shame on the staff for allowing it to happen. Dumbest thing I have read on here in ages.

If this is true, it sounds like staff coupon abuse to me, if it has really got that rife in that store (how else would it catch on, other customers never follow suit that quickly from other couponers).

Even when I explain a bit to interested customers they never get it - and I never give it all away either, except to neighbours & friends. There's no way info about specific coupons like these would pass that quickly from stranger to stranger - except on t'internet (countrywide) or between colleagues (at that store).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

our local t's has now stopped taking coupons they have been taking em for a while but think everyone must have just found out as for the past week it has been full evryday of people using the magazine coupons, i know of a few people who have spent the day there just going back in and out spending the £20 coupons everytime, the staff have been encouraging it by letting people split there shopping into seperate transactions and using coupons everytime, the shelves where empty of beer and spirits when i went the other night and the supervisors all looked very pale i'm sure they cant be getting the money back for all these coupons there where carrier bags full of em behind every till, one person i know has used over a thousand pounds worth in the last week .

Shocking, absolutely, shocking!!! Why would the staff/store encourage this to happen?!!:eek:

  • Hi I am new to this and was put off using coupons because I tried to use a muller coupon in Asda and Morrisons and they wouldn't accept it because I had not bought the product. I have just read that someone wants farm foods coupons for Tesco, will Tesco take these coupons?

I may be thinking totally out of the box here but surely, in this day and age of technology, Mr T's scanning machines could be programmed to take only coupons for items it stocks. That would stop people using vouchers for things it can't get the money back on. They are able to put blocks on some MOCs so surely this is a viable solution to some of the coupon abuse.

I'm still catching up with all the posts since I came on last so sorry if this has already been answered but you can send them an email and ask them to send you a couple in the post. That is what I did.;)

    Hi sher

I emailed farmfoods and asked for a coupon and they sent me a sheet of £5 x 2 and the £2.50 x 2.

when the October ones came out they sent me another 2 full sheets, so I think I am on some kind of mailing list now.

I always use these coupons in Mr T's without any problem at all.

    Hope you get some too.icon7.gif

    Hi

I would recommend that you read page one of this thread in its entirety. you will see that Asda and Morrisons (and Sainsburys) do not accept coupons unless you buy the product.

Farmfood coupons are called conditional spend coupons and can be used in Tesco as long as you meet the conditional spend requirement.
    ie £2.50 off a £25 shop and £5 off a £50 shop.

Read page 1 is my best advice to you.icon7.gif

Also you need to thank Princess Coupon on page 1 for all her hard work keeping the coupon list updated etc.
