Any kind soul out there goT a link to the Walls 50p coupon? Thought I'd got everything covered sinCe death of my PC (not our PC) but this one got away! Can't see it on the first page...expiry Dec 09.

I had it but deleted it as i think people couldn't decide whether it was genuine or not?? If we've found out that it is genuine can we all have a copy please

You have a valid point babyj3 - The prices quoted are I assume for HP ink and IMHO you are best to continue using genuine cartridges especially if it was an expensive printer. I think you are in the best position to answer your own query. Next time you replace the carts try and keep a note of how many moc's you get out of that set and then do a bit of basic maths...Unfortunately my HP inkjet does not have any 'page count' software as on most lasers so it's not going to be an easy or quick answer to your question!!

I am in the lucky position where I don't actually pay for my consumables <Cough> so I have never done any calculations but I would say a 20p coupon is definitely borderline!

A very rough 'finger in the air' calculation I would estimate 400-500 pages per set of HP carts and given that you are paying 4400 pence for them brings it to around 10p per page. It's probably less but I would say at least 7p/page

Perhaps Mad could be more accurate cos he seems to know a lot about inks/paper etc

Oh.....didn't know it was under suspicion and I'm normally quite careful about that sort of thing. I've obviously saved it on sight and not read anything to the contrary. That's the danger of not keeping completely up to date. Anyone know if this is a "go" or a "no go"?

I 'revisited' this last week and emailed Walls' about this but as yet no definite reply other than to say it had been passed to the 'Brand Team' but as yet no reply from them :mad:

I also mentioned the £5 one but again but again no reply!

Perhaps a couple of others could try and maybe they will have the courtesy to reply properly seeing as I was trying to stop them getting thousands of dud coupons! (More worried about my T's policy really though! :rotfl:)

Wouldn't accept it at the till, then CS said no:mad:
but then I showed them an email from here
(Thanks to OP :beer:for that)
and after much discussion, gave me £2.50!

I haven't been..... I'm pretty sure it was a no go for both the 50p & £5 but I looked and found them both still available so I wish they would get them removed if they don't want them used!! :mad:

Like I said, I think if they haven't got the courtesy to give concerned customers know a direct answer to their question it's time for more of us to continually ask the question!! Perhaps then they will actually answer the question :mad:
