Right, I'm heading out with my body armour, rotfl :rotfl:

Hopefully I can shop in peace now
but please do remember that old saying 'manager's discretion' as I do not get the impression that your store amanager will just let the matter drop (hope he does though) as at my T they would look at that e-mail and use the above quoting coupon abuse and Head Office will back the store manager and if the store has too many problems with customers showing e-mails and arguing/standing their ground they will just stop coupon acceptance in that store as they have done in many stores near to me - so be preapred and good luck:D
also in a later post you mention typing in the bar code but at my T if the coupon does not scan they will not type in the barcode - if your manager wants to be difficlut he can introduce a stricter set of rules to make life difficult for coupnners like the 5 coupon rule at my T with like for like purchases so if there aren't any high value coupon like the lovely Finish I can only save £2-3 on my weekly shop but - every little helps

I'm guessing this is the unfinished version of the coupon, and that the real one (with a barcode on) will be available to download from 5th August (when it's valid from).

Thanks for your reply. Ok I am back and have survived a mass swoop on me at the checkouts.

Got to till gave my coupons over, immediately was told you can only use 50%. I told her that wasn't the policy she said it was. So I calmly said "Ok, please read this. I have had several incidents at the checkouts so I have written to HO and got this reply" She refused to read it and stuck her light on

Over came young man who served me the last time I was there when I was asked to pay back the money by DM. He knew me and said no etc etc, so I told him the above and showed him the email. Behind him was Checkout supervisor (who had cleared my coupons before) listening. He read the part out loud about accepting ALL coupons and can pay for all shopping and started to go a bit bananas lol. SA was very flustered being adament that it was 50% when the Checkout Supervisor said "That policy and email is correct and has been for over 3 years" SA said I have been here 15 years and it's always been 50%.

I was also told that any other Tesco store saying it's 50%, £2 per day, no Internet/Printable Coupons, Manager's Discrection etc are ALL WRONG :eek:

Checkout Supervisor signed my email & policy stating it was correct so that if I get challenged again I can show it. I was also told that another customer was in this morning trying to use the £5 Lidl and got refused but the same DM who told me no told the customer yes we do accept them :mad:

Now either he has it in for me or HO have told the store to accept them and perhaps spoke to him after my email I don't know

The Checkout Supervisor was lovely, she spoke to me for nearly 30 minutes, it's a shame the DM wasn't around ;) but I have a feeling that I will see him again soon

I just want to say a big thank you to CouponMad for all your advice, I have read it over and over and digested it,you are wonderful :A

    Ps I got £31.50 shopping for 40p :T:T:T:T:T

Strange thing judy is when I downloaded it earlier it did have a barcode but has since changed! Presume the barcode will be back as of the 5th.....If you used real email to get the duff one just make one up for the second, I don't see a problem with that
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)
