Do gooseberry plants grow very big? I would like one but don't want it to take over the veggie patch.0

gooseberries grow to about 3ft=4ft tall and 3ft across, but you can prune them back a bit or grow them as cordons (single stems with little side branches, against a fence/wall)My Mind wanders, if found please return.0
