  • It might be automatically allocated as a win in your name but you have 28 days to claim it so what would happen if you don't claim it??

    :confused:Its all a mess isn't it,

you can win 1 major and 1 minor ok so Joe Bloggs wins £50 great he is happy with that but wants to be greedy lol and try to win a bigger prize but ends up winning another £50 which McVities say you cant have but are now saying its automatically claimed what happens now are you disqualified, can you go on and win 10 x £50 that you cant claim or does the poor lad stop playing whilst his neighbour wins £1000 on their first attempt.

MCVITIES really need to clarify this.
Big Thanks to all those who post competitions you are stars!
  • What is worse, is that this comp is still being advertised nationally (have not seen it yet on TV) but last week Friday when the whole fiasco started was listening to Capital Radio and they started to speak about biscuits  digestives...I thought, please give me a break...then the comp came on...if people start to buy and enter the comp due to it being advertised on TV, I am sure they are not going to look at the small prints  also for me it does not look fair : if you win £1000, you can go on to win another £50...(which count for 40/ 50 wins/day), however win £50 the first time and your chance of getting another win is very slim as you can only get the higher prizes (10 of them) in that case they should have said 2 prizes per person...also would have make it easier for them.

its messed up bigtime the lady said the t&cs had been changed to make it fairer so more people win rather than 1 person winning 6 times ect
but still its wierd how you cant cancel a claim as its already claimed
so where does that leave us on claiming the biggie where do the little amounts go?

but if youve bought say 50 packs of buiscuits and win 6 times i dont understand why they have taken upon themselves to say that you cant claim it:confused: but then they are saying you cant cancel a claim because its automatic and has your details:confused:

apparently you cant win another £50 in the same name (there computer knows apparently if youve won £50 ) if you have won the £50 if that makes sense it will only allow you to win more than £50
i just rang them as it confussed me

But that can't be true as I've won £50s after the 3rd and in my name so they still pop up that your a winner.

What puzzles me is if its a random number generator that selects names then how can they possibly bend the rules to take names out?? It couldn't happen for a start.

And how can people be claiming to have had a win by default if its already claimed??:confused:

utter bo$$$$ks if you ask me

If i ring mcvities I just get told thats its a seperate company dealing with the prize draw and they don't have any answers!
