Haven;t been on for a couple of days and just caught up on the change in T&Cs
.
Judging by the amount of compers who have contributed to this thread, I wonder if McVities would see a dent in their sales if we all stopped entering and bulk buying so many packets?! :rolleyes:The best things in life are free - Janet and Luther:

I've still got codes if anyone wants them, can't enter any myself0

Clearly if it was the swapping of codes that McVities wanted to clamp down on then they could put a very clear message in the T&Cs to say that.
The change will have a knock on effect (people will stop entering after a major and minor win) but I have a feeling that somewhere, amongst all the people who have access to codes before they are sold (many people who own small shops) can enter a whole delivery's worth of codes and then go on to buy the winning pack(s).
It may even be people who have been buying up tons of biscuits and subsequently returning them - this isn't good for sales!
It's annoying for the few of us who have entered a lot and had wins on a semi-regular basis, but I can perfectly understand why McVities made the change, although it's annoying that they did so after the start.
If they run this comp again, expect to see unique codes and/or ones that aren't visible without opening the packet.
Good luck to everyone still playing - if nothing else there's a lot less competition for those prizes now!Aug 2009 - £50 McVities Comp
