I've read through some of the thread but far too much to read through it all. I think I've got the gist of it though. McShitie's should be ashamed. This comp was good advertising for them and their biccy sales must have gone through the roof. Hands up who won't be buying them anymore!

I'll be sticking to the agreed 50/50 split (in my single win lol).

As for asking peeps to send in all their wrappers, that's just silly. Shame on you McShities.

I too will be sticking to the 50/50, there's no way I could live with myself if I didn't send the money, I too think its blooming disgusting what mcvities have done, I would love to know how much in sales they have lost in the last few days, as we were most probably the biggest buyers!!! Also my ds heard the mcvities giggle advert (stupid advert anyway) and hasn't stopped singing it since, really annoying!!!

I've just had my shopping delivered and got a promotional pack of Jaffa Cakes that I didnt ask for. I've tried the code but won nothing boooooo.
This is the 1st code I've done and I'm hooked already. I'll be going to the shops tommorrow for some more.

I did wonder that at the time, about mentioning the moment you won. Although, they can't really go off that cos there won't just be me that has mentioned winning ages after I actually did.

What if we all just came on at random times claiming to have won a biggy? I'd do it if I didn't think it'd stuff it up for genuine winners.

I expect that no matter how much they may like to, they simply can't get into accusing people of 'cheating' - unless they have proof that they've hacked the site or got round the cookies somehow. If I got accused of cheating i'd have to go off work sick with the stress of it and claim off McVities for the loss of earnings, loss of future earnings, stress and embarrassments caused, and lots and lots of other damage type claims.

Basically McVities don't like who's been winning (ie compers) so they've spat their dummies out and taken their ball home and changed the rules.

You can no longer win a biggy and a small win once a day, it's once for the whole promotional period. (ie one biggy and one £50)

Wins prior to 3rd September @ 10:30am however should be honoured as the T&C's we agreed to at that time were to be able to win daily.

Omg well they should of thought of that when they opened the comp... we are playing by the rules we are buying the biscuits and entering.. and if we win we arent entering again for the day.... more like they dont wanna release the cash!!!!!

Can anyone clarify something that so far has not been made clear?

As I understand it all wins prior to 3rd September at 10.30 will be honoured. If you won a minor and major prize before this time does this mean you cant now win again or was it a clean slate from 10.30 on the 3rd September and you can now win one minor and major ?
