to those still asking for codes i really wouldnt bother because its ok if you win and get the winning message there and then but what if after entering loads of other peoples codes and losing later on you get a wem your not going to beable to send all the packs off so your not going to claim the money. i think its safer to stick with your own codes now and should be easyier to win now anyway. personally im not entering any more and never buying there biscuits again out of principle i think there behaving quite petty and theres no reason they cant tell you the code you won with they and im sure they wont beable to enforce it once mr mutton gets on to it.

Shame the fun is over but I will also be sticking to my word re: shared wins and hope the people I have sent packets to will do the same - mine were only a few £50 wins but still its money I wouldnt have had..........fingers crossed the wins turn up!! And a cupboard full of biscuits isnt all bad....

I took my unopened biscuits back to the shop as long as you have a receipt they will refund you.

What a sham with all of these MSE'ers running away and hiding their post. Working for a firm of solicitors I am really clear on the T&C's relating to code sharing and I for one won't be removing mine as there is no way that it is against the T&C's and also, under consumer confidentiality no-one could ever come from McVities and say to MSE what's these peoples e-mail addresses, basically because they have no legal right to. I find it crazy that people are scared off by the prospect of losing winnings when that is going to be impossible to enforce from Mcvities perspective. Anyone wanting to share my codes, please PM me.

In our house McVities Jaffa Cakes ARE the cheap ones! I never buy McVities normally. My flatmate was not all that pleased when I started bringing back those "cheap and nasty" biscuits home (his words, not mine) He did manage to chomp his way through a whole large tin of them while I was away for a week :rolleyes: but normally he is more used to M&S Jaffa cakes (or even Bahlsen ones, on the days I feel generous) :rotfl::rotfl: In fact I am typing this while munching on some M&S chocolate shortcakes. Yum!

If people are trying to win a large prize only, these's going to be quite a few unclaimed £50's, they can't keep offering these to the next closest winner and saying send in all your packs, its ridiculous. If I got an email asking for my packs, I would ignore it and just try and win entering in the normal way, winning by default is never fun anyway.
