    I have a reply :)
After checking with the promotions company they have confirmed that any prizes won before the change in the terms & conditions will be taken into consideration, therefore if you won 1 minor prize (£50) and 1 major prize (£100 or over) before the change at 11.30 on 3rd September 2009 you will not be permitted to win anymore prizes.

    well thats one question resolved

I, for one will be more aware of "possible" changes to the terms and condition of future competitions all the way throughout it's promotional period from now on. I will also be inclined to copy and paste the relevant t's&c's of future comps on a daily basis so I can be aware of any changes to them.

If it hadn't been for Evelyn pointing this out to us all, we would still be going out and buying !!!!!! loads of biscuits in the vain hope of bagging the "biggy". Thus, although unaware, would have resulted in possible disqualification from the promotion for those sharing, or loss of wins for those only entering their own purchased codes. So a big thanks to her for bringing it to our attention.

I would be interested to learn how the promoters will "clarify" the entry/winning requirements, and until we have some firm clarification as to what these are then I am knocking this on the head, as I do not want to be entering my codes just to win another £50 and be unable to claim. Chasing the Biggy seems pointless.

There have been many suggestions as to "what you should/shouldn't be doing"... "who you should/shouldn't be contacting"...... speculation as to what the t's & c's actually mean when broken down.... Personally, i'm tired of trying to make sense of it all.... I do not see the sense of contacting the ISP, people are obviously contacting McShitties and making them aware of their obvious !!!!!! t's & c's.... so I will look forward to them changing the terms once again to a more sensible and clarified bunch of bolarks.

I have yet to win a "major" prize with this comp - and quiet frankly, don't think i can be !!!!!d trying........

We shall see what changes they will make AGAIN to their terms come the morning:rolleyes:

As someone also said earlier (cannot recall whom)... If I was not a "comper" I would not have ever purchased 40 odd packs of McShities at all!, I would have gone straight for them rancid yellow no frills Tesco own biccies as it is only the Savage which eats biscuits anyways.

They will certainly see a drop in sales this week :rotfl:

Even after the competition, I would have gone back to buying the cheaper brands... they all taste the same to me! Yes, I have tried biscuits I wouldn't normally try.... but it doesn't make me want to continue purchasing them after this promotion. Just makes me cry when I see the price of them!:D

I was looking forward to the savage returning to school so I could enter left, right and centre, ALAS.... looks like I will have to make a start on the housework instead!

  • I say we call one of the big papers and tell them whats happened to us all. We could have a gathering for the paper to take pics .

Im banbury and happy to call my paper if anyone lives near me and wants to join.

Big companys can not get away with this. They have spent money on radio and tv adverts , do they really want us kicking off in a paper . Nooooooooo

this would then deter big branded companies from running promotional competitions in the future.....

i'm happy with my small wins prior to 11.30am 3rd september:rolleyes: - and enjoy the "chase" of these kind of promotions.... it would be sad if they ever ceased.
