Participation

1. Open to residents of the UK, CI, IoM and ROI only, excluding employees and their immediate families of United Biscuits (UK) Limited and its agents and anyone else professionally connected with the promotion. Promotion open to those 16 years and over.
2. 3. There are online daily prizes 17/08/09 - 11/10/09 inclusive and a final special prize draw which closes on 30th April 2010. The final prize draw will take place on 4th May 2010. All winners will be contacted within 5 days and the prize awarded within 28 days.
4. Consumers will be permitted to enter the same pack time code from their promotional pack and 4 digit barcode a maximum of 5 times over the entire promotional period. But, further entries, with different promotional pack types will be allowed within the specified criteria.
5. Only 5 entries per code, per person, per address will be permitted
6. Twin pack purchases (including Penguin Milk x 18 pack) are rewarded with one bonus entry per code the first time that they enter their code from this pack. Consumers must submit their details again on the day of the bonus notification otherwise they will lose their bonus opportunity. Only one bonus entry per twin pack code.
7. Triple pack purchases are rewarded with two bonus entries, the first time that they enter their code from this pack. Consumers must submit their details again on the day of the bonus notification for these 2 extra bonus codes otherwise they will lose their bonus opportunity. Only two bonus entries per triple pack code.
8. Online entrants only, who exceed their entry allowance, enter codes more than they should do or try to use codes not intended for this promotion will be disqualified from the promotion.
9. Proof of ID will be required for major daily prizewinners such as driving licence or utility bill.

HOW TO ENTER

1. Purchase a ‘Bonkers about Biscuits’ promotional pack of biscuits. You must retain your biscuit wrapper for participation and prize claim.
2. Visit www.bonkersaboutbiscuits.com and vote for your favourite biscuit. Enter the last four digits of the 13 digit barcode number and the pack time code on the back of the promotional wrapper plus your email address, full name, house name or number including post code, date of birth, phone number and follow the instructions.
3. Each day’s online prizes have been pre-allocated and linked to “lucky winning moments,” which have been randomly pre-selected via a secure, independently verified computer based programme. If you match these times, or are the next nearest entry following any of those times, you will be a winner. All online prizes will be won.
4. Each winning moment has a randomly pre-determined amount of money allocated to it.
5. Prize fund: £5,000 to be won every day divided up as follows: Major prizes: 1 x £1,000 prize, 2 x £500 prizes, 2 x £250 prizes, 5 x £100 prizes, and the following minor prizes 40 x £50 prizes (or ECB Euro equivalent at the time of award in ROI).
6. It appears that a small group of entrants are not adhering 100% to the T&C's and therefore we have had to adjust these T&C's slightly to protect all genuine consumers. Therefore from 3rd September 2009 at 10:30am (BST), the following clause will take effect.

7. From 12th October until 30th April 2010 all entries will go into a special draw. 50 additional cash prizes will be available to be won, : Major prizes: 1 x £1,000 prize, 2 x £500 prizes, 2 x £250 prizes, 5 x £100 prizes, and the following minor prizes 40 x £50 prizes (or ECB Euro equivalent at the time of award in ROI). Entrants to the late prize draw will not need to retain their pack to claim.
8. Postal Entry Route – Send your pack(s) to the ‘Handling House’* with your name, full postal address including postcode, phone number and DOB clearly handwritten & legible in block capitals on a plain piece of paper. Your entry will be entered into the instant win at a random time throughout the next available 24 hour period on your behalf. Only one entry per properly stamped envelope. Winners only will be notified via post within 28 days.

CLAIMING PRIZES

1. Winners will be notified via email or post on how to claim their prize and will be subject to provisional proof of ID and a verification process to ensure they comply with the Terms and Conditions. Only official promotional packaging will be accepted. Packaging that is damaged defaced, copied or defective in any way will not be accepted
2. Winners should send their winning pack together with their unique reference number (provided at the time of winning), name, full address and telephone number plus date of birth. I think I'm with it!

I can't enter again as I've won both a minor and major but as they were won before the 3rd they should be honored

My ds can now enter using new codes, he can't use the ones I've already entered and lost with

My dd can also enter using codes neither I or my ds have used

and they both need to win on different days

I THINK ( ahem) that this means if you have several people in your house, and you are all genuine consumers, , and all enter the competition, you personally could win £50 and £100 today. No one else in your household can win anything today. Tomorrow however they can but you cant.

surley all wins should be honered that were won BEFOR they changed their terms and conditions? as it stated on the packs one minor and major win per day! their mistake not ours! and seeing as theve just changes ther terms surley they cant go back on them from befor the 3rd

I think McVities were alerted to the 'misuse' of the packs as even they knew that there is no way that 30,647 members of the general public would prefer Dark Chocolate Digestives over Jaffa cakes.
