we are going to have to contact mcvities to clarify exactly what they mean and what happens with prizes we have already won?
  • I think if you kept winning £50's you wouldnt be entitled to these, they would end up at the end of the promo being reassigned to the nearest code inputter at the time, for which you would need to dig out the wrapper for the mystery time and date and therefore no one would probably qualify for the reassigned prize.

You may not need the wrapper if that situation arose - there's an extra draw at the end of the promo and the T&Cs say if you win you don't need it...:

From 12th October until 30th April 2010 all entries will go into a special draw. 50 additional cash prizes will be available to be won, : Major prizes: 1 x £1,000 prize, 2 x £500 prizes, 2 x £250 prizes, 5 x £100 prizes, and the following minor prizes 40 x £50 prizes. Entrants to the late prize draw will not need to retain their pack to claim.
  • What other comps can I direct my attentions to now?

Anything else require 24 hours staying away and eating lots?

If anyone would like to send me some codes for tomorrow (6.30am) I can check using two other addresses.
  • The B******s!!!!!! What a blow! If someone has complained about us I can think exactly where I would like to stick my penguin biscuits!
Like everyone else I would imagine, I feel conned into buying a house full of biscuits, got half a stone extra in weight, a husband who thinks I've lost the plot and feel stiff as a board from hours and hours of sitting code checking! Aaaaaargh!!! Wish we could sue them for causing human suffering?!

  • We could just mess up their promo completely by entering bogus entries all day long!!

You have to go to the website to enter and it directs you to the T & Cs. You have to tick that you have read them before you submit, so you can't claim that you didn't see them.

I know I said I was too scared by the T & Cs to share codes, but now, even though I have stuck blindly to the rules I am being punished too.
I haven't won anything yet but have bought plenty of biscuits. Does this mean I shouldn't bother claiming unless I win the £1000?

They are going to have masses of unclaimed wins as people plough through the £50 wins that they can't keep. Then the rules say they will reallocate if they are not claimed and it's quite likely that person can't have the win either. In 28 days time they are going to have a mountain of unclaimed prizes and people who thought they had lost getting wins they dont want because they have claimed a bigger prize, I think.

if it's only starting making you tick a box to say you've read the t&c's now then it isn't fair saying wins from the 1st of september. 2 people won £50s with my codes last night and now we might not get that money if they've already won all they can. Really peed off.

Yes, I thought of you when I heard the T&C change.

But in the T&C's clause 5 implies that the codes can be passed around...
  • Weetabix sounds good - I can do that !

You have always had to tick the T&C box.
