Well my absolutely useless record keeping bites back again.
Have rough notes which tell me that someone perhaps called ...er... Bargain hunter... maybe... owes me £25.... not heard anything
And then... I won 5 shared in my name.
One has def arrived for QPR as that was in OHs name so I can send that.
2 more have arrived but I'm not sure who to give them to...
I owe Icefairy who sent me pack and I sent off.
I owe minnie but I didnt put a tick by their name and can't remember if I ever got pack to send off
I owe muppet but never received pkt off her and she said that she might have sent it off to mcvities from her end.
I also have written down...annie... but I think I might have meant to write lynn because I've had a pm off lynn but not off anyone called anni... and they sent pack from their end.
    oh dear

It's a shame you didn't take it a bit more seriously. It wouldn't have taken that long to take down the details.
I hope you manage to pay all the people that you owe.

Re Paypal, I have made 3 payments, all charge free (for me and receiver). I don't put them as a gift there is another option in the personal tab for payment of money owed or something similar and I use that one....may be worth people trying?
Sorry I can't be more useful, just got in from the footy. Can delve deeper tomorrow if it helps people but having a sit down and some wine tonight.

Did you send alot? Cos I think the way any of the options work [including the payment owed] is that if it's above a certain limit, then there are fees to pay. If it's below it, then it's free.

I think paypal is only free to send if your bank account is verified with them, so even if you have a bank account linked to your paypal, unless you have had it verified by them it will charge a fee, the verification to my understanding is done by them putting two small amounts into your account and then you confirming how much they were.

This is my understanding of it, please anyone who is more paypal savi correct me if im wrong :D

That is correct. It it also free if you are using funds in your account. After you have logged in you must select the personal tab and not the purchase tab.

" Receiving a personal payment (e.g. a gift from family) is free if the sender uses their PayPal balance or their bank as a funding source. If they use a credit or debit card there will be a small fee. The sender can decide to pay this or pass it on to you. "

I have paid several people with no charges. I have also been paid by a few people with no charges. I was charged for one payment sent by someone. The charge was £1.05 on a £25 payment.
