Not sure hun....I've never added to paypal....just pay out from my bank account...Have my debit card and bank account registered but was told you can pay straight from bank account through paypal with no charge so cant understand how we (me and hubby) are different with being charged.

I paid someone a largish amount (not a Bonkers-related transaction) the other week, and it was going to charge me even though I was doing it as a 'gift'. I then split the money into several smaller amounts (£30-ish each) and it went through for free.

Not sure if this will work for everyone, but worth a try anyway.
