I stayed at Prague Marriott through priceline and it was really really nice. Had a pool and we also upgraded to the executive floor/use of lounge for 50 euros for the room. There were 3 of us in the room so well worthwhile for breakfast and soft drinks.0

I've been to both Prague and Krakow - both are beautiful. One thing to consider is that Poland is not in the eurozone yet, and so imo is better value. As for hotels my starting point is tripadviser and I always choose city centre location. Have a look at alpha rooms - they seem to have good deals. Have a great trip!0

Surrounded by some wonderful architecture too. Hotels to suit all budgets. Have a look on www.cracowlife.com for lots of ideas on hotels, restaurants etc. There is also a wealth of information on TripAdvisor.
I second Krakow- went there last year for my wife's 40th and really enjoyed it- we stayed in Hotel Wentzl which was fantastic.0 -
Hi there,
I am pleased to report that I have booked the Marriott in Prague, with some help from Glenn. Flights are also booked, and assuming that I have not made a right mess of the bookings, I guess I will be back nearer the time with a new thread looking for some Prague advice.
Thanks again to all who responded.Today is the first day of the rest of your life0
