Back from ds swimming lesson and about to send a snotty email to complain .... its a half hour lesson, well today the teacher didn't arrive until 10 minutes into the lesson , on top of that he was the fourth different teacher in 4 weeks  Theres no continuity for the kids whatsoever, some of the teachers have put armbands on them, some have used woggles, some haven't used anything ... then they spend half the lesson trying to figure out what each kid can already do, theres no way they're going to make any progress like this its ridiculous. I spoke to the lady on reception on the way out and she couldn't have been less interested if she tried  she just said that the proper teacher isnt in, so if he's not in they have to get someone to cover. She didnt know if he was likely to be back next week or not, utterly utterly useless
Other than that today has been fine, so far its a nsd :T 50p and 10p on the scratchcards, £4 payment from a survey the other day arrived in paypal todayMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Off to Weightwatchers in an hour or so, not expecting anything this week, I was very naughty over the weekend
Ds has been to his football session after school tonight, seems to be enjoying it, doesn't have a clue about the rules, but hey its fresh air and running around so cant be bad
Nothing much else to report, a nsd so far but wont stay that way, I need to get bread and milk and will also buy snacks for the week at ww tonight.
Last night I bought 3 new bras and knickers from the per una offer on the grabbit board. £13 for the lot seems a huge bargain not to be missedMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

It is a fab offer isn't it
Bras are one of those things that are always expensive and you can never justify spending loads, but mine definitly need updating, so well pleased with this offer, my quidco has tracked too, only 60p or something but all helps :T
Weightwatchers was okay, lost half a pound this week, which tbh I'm quite pleased with, I haven't stuck to it religiously and was quite naughty at the weekend, so any loss is a good thingI did treat myself to a magazine there and will read it in the bath tonight. I also got some of their new berry flavour sweets which are scrummy, they had some at the table to try and they taste lovely

Evening all
2 x 10p on the scratchcards this morning, a normal day at work, then another trip to the dentist  Today I had a root canal treatment, a filling and a crown fitted ... I have one more appointment because she didn't have time to get it all done today, but thats in 2 weeks time so a few days off this time!
Mum gave me a cheque for £100 today towards the new telly, my brother and sister both have tonnes of money and she worries about me, I do tell her I'm doing fine but she thinks being a sinle parent means I haven't got a penny to my name, she just doesn't get that I *choose* to live frugallyAnyhow, its really kind of them and will help a lot :T
I popped into Asda before my appointment and picked up 2 of their large kilner jars (£2 each) and 4 of their £1 glass jars (a bit like biscuit barrels), and I will fill them with sweets instead of selection boxes for the kids in the family for Christmas
I noticed today the £13 has come out of my account for the M&S stuff so hopefully that will arrive soon, and my Next order arrived today too, I'm keeping the standard length jeans and returning the long ones, and keeping the jeans and shirt for ds, so £25 in total :TMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Well done on the weight loss - I put on another lb........something not quite going according to plan, then
I had a rummage in my wardrobe and found lots of things that I had stashed away over the last year or so that I can make into decent Christmas presents, so I've not got to spend as much as I originally thought, which is always a good thing!

I also got a set of 3 Micheal Morpurgo books for my nephew for £4.99 and a set of Jill Tomlingson books (again for ds) for £6.99. I got free delivery and also got a free diary which will go in with my Mums presents

I bought those Roald Dahl books for DS a couple of years ago and he still reads and rereads them! They had a good deal on the CDs a while back - he used to like them on long journeys.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
