A cheap day today, didn't spend anything at work, then went down the beach after school and had ice-creams (2.90) as ds got another hotspot at school today :j , just realised I forgot to mention he got one on tuesday, basically one person who's been good gets a special cushion to sit on at carpet-time instead of the floor, and he got it on tuesday and again today
I'm so so so pleased with him
I had an email from talktalk today to say my download limit is 40gb and in august i used 110gb   If I do it again they will charge me extraI've no idea how I have, I know I wasn't at work in August but I didnt think I used the laptop that much differently to normal
Ds does like watching train videos on youtube but other than that I'm on here or f/b mainly

Wow!!:eek: Have you had a look at this thread here for some info on measuring your usage? If you have wireless broadband do you have security enabled so others aren't using your connection (and hence bumping up your download totals if they are downloading stuff)?Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Thanks Taka, I have checked and my wireless is definitely secure, so not sure why it was so high, I will look into it further
Last night I did a mystery shop and got £10 fee and £5 expenses, and today we've done the lovely day out one. The weather has been beautiful and we had a really great day. The shop itself was really easy, so it felt like a proper touristy day out but paid for by someone elseWe went on the train, just to make it even better for ds, and he fell asleep on the way home as he was shattered
Altogether the day will have cost me about £8, the other £70 being paid for by the company :j
Tonight we will just be vegging on the sofa, uploading the mystery shops and having a bath and an early nightMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Sounds fab BB, what a lovely day out, bet the train was the highlight of the day for DS!! Is that tourist attraction worth a visit? I have some 2 for 1 vouchers for there... x"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

It was worth it as I wasn't paying, but I would have been disappointed if I'd paid full-price Tigz. 2for1 would be worth it, but it needs to be a nice day as there is quite a bit outdoors, like they have a little paddling pool and water jets and stuff for the kids to play in which ds absolutely loved, but if the weathers not good then thats all no use. There weren't as many aquarium type fish as I'd been expecting, which is a good thing, but they had seals and penguins which were lovely
Its a lovely town and as the weather was great we went down the beach for a bit too and it was just a lovely day. The train cost £20 but they pay me £7 for petrol and £6 fee for doing the job, so not too bad, and if I'd driven the car park would have been £6 plus then the petrol, so probably about the same
