Tigz you're very welcome here if you bring cake like that every time you visit
Tonight we popped round to Mums for dinner, dads medication has been changed again but still doesnt seem to be helping at all (he has Parkinsons and dementia). He was most concerned about a car in the living room that had false number plates on it
I still haven't sorted out stuff for the car boot on sunday and am not sure whether I'll get a chance to do it tomorrow either.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

I reckon your dad was doing telepathic stuff to me......I got a £60 fine this evening for having my number plate spaced wrongly.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Morning all
Looks like its going to be another good money day today, firstly I got a free £1 on the scratches so managed to withdraw a tenner :T, then an enquiry I put in on quidco has validated (£15) which I hadn't included before, then its also payday, so £200 moved to the mortgage pot, so this has seen off december 2024 and almost 2023 :j :j
Today we're going for a walk and a picnic with my sister and nephew and possibly sorting the car boot stuff later :rolleyes:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

We ended up meeting my sister and going to Hurst Castle, which basically meant we parked the car then walked about 2 miles along a spit looking at the boats and then had our picnic. Then we went into the castle and looked all round the castle and looked at the lighthouse before getting a little ferry back to the car
The boys had a fabulous time, we're all shattered now (and sunburnt
), but it was one of those unplanned but fantastic days out, the kids were running round all day, loads of fresh air, the best day weatherwise so far this holiday, and pretty cheap too: the car parking was free :T, £5.70 for both of us to get in the castle and £5.90 for both of us on the ferry.
Earlier ds wanted me to take him to the card shop, I went in and showed him where the mum ones were and then he told me to wait outside because he wanted to choose one and buy it for meHe took some pennies from his piggy bank and everything :T
Now I'm vegging for half an hour before I get tea, we're having wraps, chicken, salad, sour cream and cheese tonight:D :DHappy happy daysMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
