It's mostly the tourists driving at that speed as they can't work out which way to go.0 -

And yes it is outdated.

HTH.
Apparently it got far more pleasant after a certain Brooker chap left the place.
Sounds to me you are more of a white van man - Charging around getting stuck in traffic jams on the M1/M25, missing the point of living.
While I have everything I want on my doorstep.
Central London 1.30 mins away
Seaside on my Doorstep
Forests to my left and right
NO TRAFFIC JAMS
We are polite, maybe it was just you and your mates????
NO CONTEST AGAINST DUNSTABLE REALLY!!!

Some of us have things to do, people to see, so fools limping along at 20mph below the speed limits are quite irritating.
We have a system down here where people are driving along slower than us, not sure if it has got to your neck of the woods, but we move around the vehicle in front, while putting your foot on the accelerator pedal (You wouldn't know about that, you live too close to the M1/M25) and you drive past them and then go back into the lane.
It's a simple idea really:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Dorset is a beautiful place, clean and friendly with so much for everyone you must be mad to think spain is better.
As for speeding around, are you crazy like some drivers Ive experienced in different parts of the uk
I have lived here all my life and would not think of living anywhere else.0 -
Weymouth has part of the Olympics being held in 2012
Does Dunstable?

My apologies to anyone in Dunstable, I'm just trying to prove a point that people in Dorset are very very proud of God's back garden0 -
We've just come back from our second long weekend in Dorset. Got another one booked for November and can't wait to come back. We had a lovely time, stayed in Weymouth, had a glorious day on Sandbanks beach, trips to the Sealife centre and the tank museum and Camp Bestival - did not encounter any hostility towards us as 'tourists'. Just planning our itinery for November now - our children are always happy to visit. Went to Florida last year and the children had a fantastic time - but they are just as happy to visit Weymouth to be honest!0

I live in Dorset and it is fab, I have lived here all my life and I love it. Bournemouth beach on the doorstep, Poole harbour very near, the new forest, sandbanks etc. We visit Weymouth every now and then which the children enjoy. If we didn't live here we would definitely be holidaying here!Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0

Things to do in Weymouth when it's raining:"Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Hi
Following on from things to do in Weymouth when its raining:
Nothe Fort
Deep sea adventure/sharkeys
Sea life centre
There are plenty of things to do when the weather is bad, you have to make the most of it, whether you live in Dorset or anywhere.
We live on the Dorset/Somerset?Devon border and are never stuck for things to do either when its raining or not.
There are also plenty of National Trust properties around the area to escape from the rain.
Dorset is no more boring than anywhere else in the country
