The jumper could go on sale for £45 and be bought for that.
The house could be sold for £185k.
My point was, it was not what the lender sets, its what is agreed between the buyer and the seller.
If there is no agreement because lack of available funds, then there is no sale and the valuation is not set at what the lender was prepared to give.
There are soo many other factors for that i.e. size of deposit
kinda feeling the value/worth is what it sells for tbh. if there is no buyer at stated value then stated value is incorrectPrefer girls to money0 -

I will be hopping on the 'genuine recovery boat', that particular boat will give us good, stable, strong fundamentals and a transparancy of what the future holds. That particular boat isn't even on the horizon yet, and most likely won't be for some years.0 -

Looks to me like leaving for Oz is coming to the fore now when my investments come in, as there is no way on earth I will pay current prices, but it seems the majority in the country disagree, good luck to 'em................. onwards
Why, didn't house prices go up in OZ?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

Indeed.
His solution to living in a country with high prices, is apparently to move to a country with even higher prices..... Odd.
