Okay folks time for a little something to cheer us all up on a slow Wednesday afternoon. Name your 3 top reasons why you just love house prices crashing.

    I'll start:

    a) It will enable 'first time buyers' to buy something bigger than a slave-box rabbit hutch;
    b) There will be an end to 'liar loans' with mortgage lending returning to sensible levels; :j
    c) Saving and prudence will be seen as the new spending and mewing. :T

    d) I'll be able to buy somewhere soon and stop paying my landlords mortgage for him and get rid of the stigma of renting and not being able to afford to put a roof over my children's heads?

    There you go how's that?

Surely that statement means the same thing. Shall we go on, or shall we carry on are one and the same thing. That's one of your problems Chucky. A lot of what you say is complete and utter garbage.

    That actually tickled me.

I can agree with that - OH was with the CAA and then NATS after the split - his pension will be excellent. The pension is one of the reasons he has been with them over 30 years.

Get used to it all you HPI cheerleaders and debt junkies.

Will you consider yourself a debt junkie when/if you ever get round to purchasing a home?

I doubt you will ever buy a home mind you. I am sure you will still be on these boards in 2014 predicting massive house value decreases meanwhile paying someone elses mortgage for them for the next decade.
