Agree. I hope for Hamish's sake that house prices don't start crashing again. If they did, he'd have so many posts rammed down his throat they he wouldn't need to eat for a month.
every time he posts or starts a thread a DaddyBear post is guaranteed to be right behind.0 -

Most Scots are looking forward to the World Cup with great anticipation.
Watching England get humiliated is always fun....:D
I'm Scottish and I'm interested in the World Cup.
I even have no prejudice towards England.
I don't care who beats them(that's just a joke)
Seriously though, I want England to do well.
I just don't want them to win.
The reason being is the media. Who remembers "England Expects" when they all thought it was a foregone conclusion they were going to win in 2006.
You could run a sweeper on how long it takes in Englands first game for them to mention 1966, Geoff Hurst etc etc etc.
Problem is, that how do you take bets on them mentioning before hte first ball is kicked in earnest for the English Team.
I want England to do well, get to the final, just don't bloody win it:wall:

Since I'm in a jovial mode and the subject is now on Scotland and England, how about this one: -
In the beginning when God was creating the world, He was
sitting on a cloud, telling his pal, the Arch Angel Gabriel,
what he planned for Scotland.

"Gabby," says He, "I'm going to give this place high majestic mountains, purple glens, soaring eagles, streams laden with
salmon, golden fields of barley from which a whisky coloured
nectar can be made, green lush, spectacular golf courses, coal in the ground, oil under the sea......."

"Hold up! Hold up!" interjected the bold Gabriel. "Are'nt you being too generous to these Scots?"

Back came the Almighty's reply, "Not really. Wait until you
see the fcuking neighbours I'm giving them!":wall:

I believe the children are our future.
Teach them well and let them lead the way.:wall:

I do have a child.
He's 14 months and already is learning valuable lessons.
He's learning consequence and actions and is rewarded for good behaviour / work.
It's simple little things at the moment like putting his clothes in the washing basket before going in the bath, or hugely praising tidying up his toys.
Teach our children the benefits of doing things right and working hard, results in a better life:wall:
