Why I Love House Prices Crashing

It's never a good idea to make guarentees when it comes to the housing market.0

I would agree with this. However, I don't think it will cause a second house price crash but more likely to keep prices around the same level and prevent any HPI.
On another post (sorry I can't remember which one) someone was saying IG's spread price for property prices was indicating a small rise over the next 12 months (or it could have been the price for 2010 therefore for the 12 months ending at the end of this year). This I believe is the best indicator as if they didn't put the effort in and quoted an out of line price they would get too many playing just one way, whereas the idea is to get two way trade and realise a profiit from their spread margin, rather than have to move the price and lose their margin.
Although at the worst of times they were quoting about a 35% fall from the top of the market, but as we know that didn't transpire, although the government did jump through hoops to prevent the worst scenerio, which probably was not known at the time that that price was available.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

I love those 100% guarantees. It's the only reason I ever visit HPC, just to make sure I know what's coming next.
Collapse of society spring 2009 - 100% guaranteed!
Massive falls summer 2009 - 100% guaranteed!
Things getting worse after the holidays - 100% guaranteed!
Double dip recession - 100% guaranteed!

I think their crystal ball is broken.....:D“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Has anyone 100% guaranteed a world cup win for England in South Africa?Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

No, but round my way nobody is interested in watching it. I'm going to love seeing them fail when there's absolutely no support in the UK whatsoever at all (not even one person in the country) who even turns the TV on for the next three months.0 -

So how do our readers claim?
Will you be paying them the difference for following your advice?
Seeing as how it was "100% guaranteed".....;)
I takes a special kind of loser to trawl an Internet forum at midnight, looking for old threads in an attempt to raise self-esteem.
Anyway, back to the OP.
1. People look at houses as a place to live, not something to make money out of.
2. It encourages social mobility.
3. It makes multi-property owners squirm.0 -

I think you will find that although you are not interested there will be massive interest. I guess you come from Scotland or Wales then? Personally I support all of our home nations teams in the world cup, although that of course is mainly limited to the qualifying stages due to their lack of progression.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
