Yorkshire Bank Scandal! Help Needed
Comments
-
I banked with YB approx 20yrs ago now and I would still be with them if it hadn't been for the fact we needed an off shore account at the time for moving overseas, YB didn't do an off shore account in Jersey so we moved to TSB, biggest mistake ever made.Just to square it out a little, I have banked with Yorkshire for 20 odd years ever since they wee the first to introduce daily interest mortgages ( as in Australia ) I have always found them easy to bank with, & I have no complaints. In fact, because we swoped out mortgage to them, we paid it off 8 yrs early & saved thousands of £'s
I have actually considered going back to YB as I believe they do a visa debit card on their basic accounts but they do not do applications through the internet or phone, you have to go into the branch but unfortunately that is not always easy for me to do.
I'm please your mum got this sorted I would have been very worried as well.Wow, I got 3 *, when did that happen :j:T:p
It is not illegal to open another persons mail unless you intend to commit fraud - this is frequently incorrectly posted
I live in my head - I find it's safer there:p

Hi folks,
Just to reiterate, the YB Press Officer post above is genuine. We are sorting him out with a proper Company Representative login for future use now.
Glad this is getting sorted
Good idea but can't see many large companies doing it.0 -
