    Morning everyone :hello:

Sunny here again N9Eav :hello: :D
    Sorry about the MOT Bitsy
Meant to say yesterday..Good news about OH's residency Celyn. :j

Thanks for your concern about my hair/fire raising incident yesterday. :o I just had a run in with the gas flame on the hob. That'll teach me to multitask. :D

Ended up at the beach yesterday. it's a really remote one so there's never anyone else there and we came upon a red deer hind and her fawn. It was lovely just sitting watching them.
Lots of holiday makers here now the English schools have broken up. I can't get what I call them past the swear filter unfortunately. ;) We're on a main tourist walk to a tourist attraction so we have hoards of Japanese teenagers walking up the road this morning and taking pictures of eachother in front of my window boxes.:o

    Jobs today...

    Put away the ironing
    Change the beds
    Hoover downstairs
    Swish the bathroom and kitchen
    water the greenhouse.

Am taking the girls out to where we were supposed to go yesterday but we left it to late.

Lamb kebabs and more salad from the garden for tea.

    Take care everyone

    Haribo x

    Greetings OSers!

Last night it was cold wet and dark by 9 p.m and I was thinking a lot of negative things like the summer is over.
Well today I am banishing those thoughts. There's not too much I can change in my life but I can stop that negativity thing.
Today I am paying £75 towards my sons holiday....only £100 to go.
    Might manage a walk.
Dinner soup and some sort of pudding.
I thought I might buy new table mats . One thing we have to do is eat so might as well make it pleasant!
Also I need to force myself to do a job application. Sometimes when they are last minute I seem to do a better one.
I'm glad I'm not shelling out for a holiday in the bad weather. I know that's mean for those who are but it makes me feel better!:rotfl:

Raining here -on my washing, and no I will not be washing it again:D

DS2 has apparently only got one pair of trousers apart from his school ones. Consequently we are off to town to buy him a couple more pairs plus some more pants. DS1 needs more socks, fortunatley DD has plenty of everything.

We have grandmothers and aunts and cousins visiting DS1 this afternoon ('twas his birthday yesterday). Can't say I'm looking forward to it at all. I have to get tea ready in the afternoon because of DD's swimming lesson at 5 and I have an enoooormous pile of ironing. Think I'm just going to get on with it-they aren't coming to see me after all.

Kids and OH are off to Cornwall camping next Wed:j:jPeace and quiet;)

As the weather's miserable I think we might have a hefty soup for tea -something spicy with beans and tomato with a pud-maybe a cake? Lunch will be toast and chicken liver pate;)

hugs for those that want/need one.

not raining here (yet) met office have decided to review their forecast of a BBQ summer and inform us we are in for a wet miserable one i think we kind of worked that ot for ourselves  finally got DDs provisional licence sent off yesterday after much tooing and froing ovr it. we were going to do a check and send. went to the local PO cant do it ytou need the PO in the next town, walked there -CANT do it we havent been train you need the city PO. rearranged shopping got DH to drive us into the city and paid for parking to be told you can only do check and send if you have a passport:mad:. no where on any of the paperwork does it mention that! so ive walked back down yesterday to the nearest proper PO to do a recorded delivery as DD is worried they'll lose her NI card and her birth cert.
