Nero 7 in Ebuyer for £8.22 (Quickfind code: 109471, about £10 with shipping).
Funny but on the Nero web site it is $59 for the download version.
I know it is an OEM disk but how come there such a big difference in price of essentialy the same product? (I am only using the burning facility).
Am I missing something?

All the Nero OEM versions I have actually had were supplied with DVD writers.
They only have very basic functions, and not upgradeable.
As the OP stated, what would be the point of selling a Premium version for a much higher price.0 -
You could download a 30-day fully functional trial of the full version from the NERO website...
After the 30 days has passed you would require a serial to continue using it...either purchasable direct from Ahead, or obtainable via other means...YO!0 -
If anyone wants just a basic CD\DVD burning software for free then try this ... http://www.cdburnerxp.se/ ... I use it and its great

Ebuyer also have Nero V6 in stock for £1.99 inc VAT.
The OEM versions are the same as the full monty versions but they dont come in a nicely packaged cardboard box with a user manual. It will just be a disc delivered in a sleeve.

OEM versions are subject to different licensing than retail ones, hence the difference in cost. They're intended for system builders to bundle with new PCs or drives.
Just buying the OEM version from eBuyer means you have the software but no licence to use it. It's as legal as getting a 50p copy down the boot sale but costs a lot more. Can I help?0 -
You can legally purchase OEM versions as long as you are also purchasing non peripheral hardware - you could probably get away with an IDE cable for about £1.0
