Just seen your thread and wanted to say well done on the progress you have made :T. To take control of things again after going through such horrible experiences is not easy - all kudos to you for doing it.

:rotfl:Hey Katy - You'll be worth money at your local restaurant - suggest you sell yourself!

Had positive day yesterday. Things left at auction room for valuing - seemed quite optimistic about some of it and VERY interested in Mums refectory table!

BIG BIG ebay day today. Got loads to list!

Waiting now for response to my letters!

    Have a good one all.

OH on board with daily budget :j

Wow....you really are going for it aren't you! Selling stuff really does get addictive doesn't it. Steady on though, leave hubby something to sit on at least!

Glad you're feeling more positive though and are feeling less swamped under with it all. Keep up the good work :T:T:T:T

Did the bullying contribute to you leaving work?

A friend had the same thing happen & went to tribunal for constructive dimissal & won.

Just a thought & you may be able to get benefit JSA or incapacity benefit.

    Hi

Yes the bullying etc did contribute to my resignation. Without boring everyone, what basically happened was I was actually being bullied by one of my staff (I Know!). She was spreading malicious gossip etc and in the end I took the matter to the HR director who advised me to pursue the matter through the correct grievance procedure.

Having won the grievance I was astounded that she wasn't fired and was put on a final warning. Furthermore the Director in charge of my department wanted to keep her in the same job, so they took part of my remit away.

Over the following 3 months my job was eroded bit by bit by the said Director and I couldn't take anymore.

I don't know if I can pursue constructive dismissal, because I resigned and didn't make a further grievance complaint before doing so (I was too ill to do it by that time).

If I could pursue it now I would. I have all of the documented evidence of the original grievance.

Thanks for your comments and concern.

    :jAnybody out there?

Just wanted to share a bit of success!

Got told by auctioneer that a piece of jewellery I thought was 'junk' is 18ct gold and he's put a reserve of £500 quid on it!

Bid already in for £99.99 on another item on ebay.

Made a tin of cheapo tuna do for OH lunch & Jacket potato for me today.

Listed another 12 items on ebay.

Roped Daughter in law into carboot for Sunday.

Spent a big fat ZERO yesterday and today

    Filled in my daily diary

Lastly - PROBABLY A TIP YOU ALREADY ALL USE - but WALKED to the supermarket on Monday with intention of only buying 'quick sale' items.
Good time to go when the bargains are on - so we won't starve THIS WEEK
