You'd think it would a case of well we will come and clean every wednesday and do the bathroom/kitchen/hoovering or some such line up.

Oh god no, that would make the process simple and painless. This one company sent me a check list which I had to tick jobs in each room, reams and reams of stuff, like i am going to say, yes, dust one of the walls in my living room but not the other 3 (do people dust walls I suck up cobwebs with the hoover when people are coming round... sometimes) but this list had each wall listed in the rooms.

Just my thinking Toto but wouldnt it be good to book someone for 4 hours a week to start with on a 4 week trial basis and go from there?? Or is that too easy for these companies??

The owner of the company I used came round and assessed the house nd made a note of what needed doing and of anything not to be touched.....the Picasso in the lounge, the Monet in the 4th bathroom....that sort of thing
