I'm up and breakfasted. I've also fed and watered a couple of plants that looked as if they needed it despite the relentless rain!

I now need to summon up the energy to get dressed and get myself to the station... it feels as if AF is kindly going to turn up on my day off (she's only 3 weeks late ) and as I'm busy I really don't appreciate it!

Thanks for all your support with the interviews. Hope you all have a productive day!

    Morning all

Johanne - big hugs to you.

Am up early and fretting a bit. DD put a message on facebook mentioning flu last night which I spotted before I went to bed. It's too early to call or text her at the moment. But as soon as it's sensible o'clock, I shall!

Oh, and it's raining and I need to muck out the car because it's going in for MOT at lunchtime. Joy!

    Morning lovelies!

Valli that has to be the most bizarre question I've ever seen :D took a while to click but yes! she did get me the mop eventually, it's one of those Flash things with the pads and the cleaner inserts into the stick, she hasn't replaced the pads nor the cleaning solution so have to put a damp cloth over it and mix up my own spray bottle thing

Don't anybody think of leaving please! I love you all and love to read about your accomplishments, I don't do the lists regularly now and don't give a jot, and pen pen I smile everytime I see another week done, what's the run now 11/12 weeks? I've done a few bits off the list, I've had to sweep the floor and particularly under the settees cause the hoover just wouldn't cut it  still a carrier bag of grot has gone, I've tidied it all up properly too and bunged the cushion covers in the WM.

The actual cleaning will have to wait cause I dont want to burn myself out before work lol Will leave a note for teenie to do the kitchen, need to see to the cat littler tray asap though - she's so fussy I'm changing it every two days with pooper scooper used inbetween - is this normal, my old cat would use it forever without a change if I'd let him.

i also clean when upset and angry and at the mo am mightly p**ed off that i have struggled for the past 3 months on my own with ex only taking her for 2 nights the whole time.. getting himself sacked so not paying a penny for her for past 2 months... and his family not ONCE bothering to pick up the phone and ask how i am the whole time... but they can insist she goes away to their luxury caravan in Wales with Daddy for a few days.... (i was invited too as an afterthought but they know im working thursday and also have a driving lesson friday .. and it would have been case of playing happy families too)..... so im doing all the hard work, paying for her and picking up all the pieces of his descions yet HIM and HIS family get to take her on her first holiday! :( So im missing out... and then its something i cant even think of doing cos i dont have the money or means of transport because im struggling to support her all on my own!!:mad::mad:

But me being nice.... said ok to it eventually.... as to not upset anyone!!

    (except MEEEEE!!!)

    [/RANT]

You may not think it at the moment, but children aren't daft ;) She'll grow up appreciating you, and realising that you've done the rough with the smooth, where her dad has cherry picked the smooth   Do try and make the most of the time on your own - do something for yourself that you can't do otherwise (I used to have a long soak in the bath, loads of bubbles, bar of chocolate, and a book - no cries of muuuuuuuuuuuuuuum! ;)). Take care :A

Off to find that list .........

Right, I've decided f*ck it over the new weekly challenge, the nursery slopes etc. From now on, and it seems to be the consensus - and Piggers, I hope you're with me on this, we go back to the old way of simple stars for achieving three levels per day. Whether you do it on that day or not. We forget the new weekly challenge thing.

There are too many bleeding hearts (and that's said in the nicest possilbe way) and insecurities being bandied about (and I include myself in that statement!) that it's time we get back to basics.

I love you all in an internety/virtual type way. You are all part of my life (sad as that may seem!) and it's time we moved on and got back to propping each other up and encouraging.

From now on (and this, obviously, will only last until Toots is home) I will only look at the daily list and award stuff according to that. Toots may have a different view when she's back on line but then that's her perogative.

You are all special and you all do good stuff when all around is mostly carp. Remember that...

I will (in the morning now probably) go scrap the hearts and just concentrate on the starry stuff.

Unless you want to throw a mule at me Piggers and order otherwise....

    Good plan I say....
Whatever you feel regarding star/hearts etc if dandy with me, will be crap (yes crap!) as always, unless piggers says otherwise, but may still ignore as I can't acheive all 5 days so that's that in my eyes.

I'm here cos your all lovely and supportive

Can't beleive that some feel they can't post cos of lack of flying, we NEVER judge, please beleive me, we don't

    ^^^^^ that too!!

PMSL... Next time you go.. XL... he's not wide just 6ft 4...

Being a little dim but whats PMSL mean???

Ok so I didnt get out of bed until about 20mins ago cos DS had a really really bad night. Dont know why cos we have got the whole sleeping thing back on track so guessing last night was just a blip. Anyways means I am a little sleepy  today and have a very very sore head
Anyways flying wise I havent done anything yet (but have fed DS and hd cuppa) so once I am showered and had something for my head I might get on with it

ETA - oh somebody here might know the answer. I am planning to make a quiche today (using up leftover bacon, leeks and pastry) but have never made one before. Sooooooo do I bake the pastry before adding the contents or do I add everything into the pastry and then cook??????
