Suppose I should go and deal with the kitchen... I've frozen the cake that I started yesterday, and dealt with the chicken, so need to put it all away and start some stock in the SC to cook tonight.

I also need to make it look reasonably tidy as I may have friends over when I get back from cake-making in the afternoon.

I also need to work out what I have to wear and take with me tomorrow, and remember that I have to get an 8.15 train, which means leaving here at 7.30 - which means I can have a lie in :p Or I could go for a swim at 6.30

I had on the other hand, soappie down as Helen Mirran acting as the queen in the film, but with a stern look over the top of her glasses and me feeling dreadful for letting her down!! LOL

I love that image Carlsberggal - I could so do Helen Mirran on a bad day :rotfl:

ETA - we have decluttered the stir fry and I've done the washing up

Right, I've decided f*ck it over the new weekly challenge, the nursery slopes etc. From now on, and it seems to be the consensus - and Piggers, I hope you're with me on this, we go back to the old way of simple stars for achieving three levels per day. Whether you do it on that day or not. We forget the new weekly challenge thing. That's fine by me... I never get any anyway.. *sniff*

There are too many bleeding hearts (and that's said in the nicest possilbe way) and insecurities being bandied about (and I include myself in that statement!) that it's time we get back to basics. Indeed.. :D

I love you all in an internety/virtual type way. You are all part of my life (sad as that may seem!) and it's time we moved on and got back to propping each other up and encouraging. you mean you don't love us in a romantic way.?? I am hurt.. :p.. I'd marry any of you!

From now on (and this, obviously, will only last until Toots is home) I will only look at the daily list and award stuff according to that. Toots may have a different view when she's back on line but then that's her perogative.

You are all special and you all do good stuff when all around is mostly carp. Remember that... Oi... WE are all special.. you are included in this you know.. :D:D:D:D:D

I will (in the morning now probably) go scrap the hearts and just concentrate on the starry stuff. .. Keep the weekly challenge ones.. these were asked for!!

Unless you want to throw a mule at me Piggers and order otherwise....

*throws a mule at Soappie because she is a daft sentimental narna and we love her*

Sometimes I think I like making cakes... and then I remember that it's hard work! I feed them to other people though - the fun bit is working out how to make them (although anyone who is around when they don't do what I want would probably dispute that :p and I work in a fairly chaotic way, so it's generally best not to be in the kitchen with me ;)).

I've just made, split, filled and covered two cakes which I've frozen so that next time I need something to ice and I don't have to make the cake too. The plan is to fill the freezer up with cakes of various types/shapes and sizes so that there is always something I can use if its needed!

I really MUST go and sort out the kitchen now!

ETA - where did all that sentimental stuff come from Pigpen? That's not like you... you're getting soft :p. And you never know, if your captive bloke carries on at his current rate, you might be able to claim a star or two by proxy...
  • Soappie - glad you like and thank whoever (lord etc) that I haven't offended you.

Whatever you feel regarding star/hearts etc if dandy with me, will be crap (yes crap!) as always, unless piggers says otherwise, but may still ignore as I can't acheive all 5 days so that's that in my eyes.

I'm here cos your all lovely and supportive

Can't beleive that some feel they can't post cos of lack of flying, we NEVER judge, please beleive me, we don't

Two things first from me ......

pigpen - they had 'I facebooked your mum' t-shirts in Covent Garden today :rotfl: but I didn't know what size to get

Valli, sexymouse and other Primary teachers - have a look here for free posters http://www.puffin.co.uk/static/aboutpuffin/yourquestions.html#17

And I have caught up with the thread!

nevaeh - that did make me chuckle :rotfl: Oh, and I def DON'T envy DH having to see Miley Cyrus

L-L - thanks for the update on Toots; as mentioned before, I know lots of children who have had this done. I even have 'Teddy Tube Fed' here so people can see how it all works. Please give my love to Toots when you next hear from her and continued hugs and prayers for you xx

    jo1972 - welcome back

Jinky - well done :T for the flying and for your speech ;)

    SS - well done to DD3; she's fab :j

AnW - love the picture; Miss A is very pretty (and so is the cookie!)

Triker - hugs and prayers for you; take care and please don't stop posting

Pollybear - ^^^^ same for you too ^^^^

greenbee - hope it went well

GnB - hugs and prayers for you and LO too

PenPen - I don't think you've offended anyone; it's great when you post what you've done as it gives me something to aim for!

soappie - I was going to post that I can verify you being blonde, but not sure I could have done the rest of the description :rotfl::T I could aspire to slim and neat but not blonde / auburn and not with a bob!

I was going to do some ironing but I am shattered (why does sitting on a train and sitting in a theatre make me soooooo tired?!!). However, I do have a free day tomorrow - although I may go shopping as the fridge is almost empty - so will be doing several HHCs.

Please all stop being down, it makes me have a complex and I worry I've said something to upset people as I really do suffer with foot in mouth syndrome!

Can we just go back to being pleased at what we have done, celebrating and having a good old moan when life gets in the way of us flying?

    What she said^^^^^
