Sorry to say but I think everything is becoming too overwhelming re black run, two tiered, nursery slopes etc.

Theres too much info to take in, imho.
    I agree.
I liked it the way it was before when I came on (i.e. a list with three levels and extras)- I do like the stars being awarded but agree it is not a competition.
I also like the weekly list of 5 things, and hearts awarded as each thing is done.
With those two, plus my dailies, I think that is more than enough for anybody!
Each to their own though I suppose.
I just think cleaning is part of life, and with more lists/challenges it will become life if we are not careful!
Anyway, my feelings on the matter lol.
I will see you all around the 13th Aug, for the post holiday cleaning/laundry session.

Sorry - I was checking my emails. Thanks so much for all the help and input with my CV; everything you've had is fab! Im so grateful.

I forgot to take my bank statments to the council tax office and I need to get proof of the childcare payments, which is all in hand. I will pick it up from the childcare place tomorrow and take it down.

I went to work after that and spoke to the administrators. They helped with filling in all of the forms and will put them in their internal mail to the office, so they will get there and be dealt with quicker.

I then made the amendments to my CV, which you had suggested and posted with monster, jobsite, jobserve and cant remember who else. Ive received an email already for an admin post, but the shifts were 2pm - 10pm so no use to me.

    But Im getting there..... xx

    Glad you've got lots done.

Don't under-sell yourself... send the CV back to me and I'll have another look if you want.

Right, I've done my stuff for my mid-year review (not that I see much point, my current boss can't stand me), and approved some stuff, so I think I'm going to go and bung my chicken in the SC and start sorting out stuff to go in the outside freezer! I still need to do some more walking today... I haven't got to the gym or yoga, so not exactly a good start to the week :o

Got an exciting email from my Director of studies this morning, offering me the opportunity to transfer to a Masters degree course instead of an Honours degree as i did really well this year:j Its an extra year and ALOT of extra work as the pass mark is much higher from now on, but i dont have to find any extra funding like you would for a normal masters, it is government funded like the rest of my degree.
WTG GnB, that's so fab! :T:T:T

Suppose to be lasagna for tea, but as I haven't made one that could be an issue.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:yes I can see why that would be a problem!

Have just decluttered an absolutely fab tea that DH cooked - he has also washed up some more and cleaned the hob. He has been a real star today, I think something has sunk in about me not being able to cope with all this mess. He's really worked hard on the LR and sorting out the car stuff, plus a few bits from under the bed etc.

The LR still needs a lot more work tho!

Welcome Tashja – be kind to yourself while you are adjusting to your new meds, but hopefully you will be able to get a few things done flyingwise. Keep posting anyway and you will get lots of encouragement and support

Valli sorry to hear about ex MIL’s brother

Jo, you have done amazingly well today, your head must feel like it’s going to explode. Make sure you look after yourself for the next few days especially as you’ve been forgetting to take your meds. Not sure what you are on, but it might take a while for it all to kick back in after you start taking it again

Happy anniversary Mr and Mrs Hex - hope you get a chance to celebrate at some point this week

Penny, the pig thing sounds great! What a wonderful idea! You could have a hog roast!

Bevan, my mum has ME as you know and she always uses a chair for going on days out and stuff – remember you will get cold just sitting there so make sure you wrap up warm and take a blanket – it doesn’t sound very attractive I know but you will be glad you took a blanket when you are in the chair. Mum finds she can keep going for a lot longer when she’s in a chair. Some places like some NT properties and Wildfowl and Wetlands centers provide electric wheelchairs for the length of your visit so that might be worth checking out if you like that sort of thing (some need to be pre-booked).

Well done AnW’s for getting your first star! Wahooo!

Mudbath, hope you and yours get better soon, and so sorry to hear about your !!!!! cat

    Orkney have a lovely holiday

Crafty, you are right, I’ve never known a summer like this with so many thunderstorms, there have been at least 3 or 4 that I can remember in the last few weeks, and I only remember getting 1 in a summer before! I’m really happy cos I absolutely love storms!

Helen, I love the fact that you knew you would have to calm your mum down and that there would be “disasters” before the event actually happened and put it on your list!

Sarah that’s so lovely about the shoes

    Welcome Svjenni

Thanks Embb, that’s kind of along the lines of what I was thinking too about the gravel. I hadn’t thought of a jug or cup tho, will have to have a root around and see what I can find

Mummyof5 wow a medieval market, that sounds fab!

My five things for MONDAY are:
    [STRIKE]

    • Wash up and hang out washing/put away dry washing
    • Get dressed and deal with the car people[/STRIKE]
    • Sort out my garden ie put gravel and soil in pots and plant the plants - have got gravel near the pots now..
    • [STRIKE]Water plants - the sky has done this for me![/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Tidy LR[/STRIKE]
    DAILIES:
    [STRIKE]Washing up
    Get dressed
Water plants morning/evening[/STRIKE] - sky done it for me!
Put heel balm on twice daily - done once so far
[STRIKE]General tidy around of kitchen/living room putting stuff away
empty bins and put out rubbish/recycling depending on day
    Laundry (every other day)
    [/STRIKE]

I have to say that I'm really loving the new nursery slopes idea. I was getting really downhearted as I could never get a star, it just felt so overwhelming. But being able to pick my own five things to do per day is much more acheivable, and I've been really going for it today because I had a target that I knew I could reach. Am very happy, so thanks Soappie for thinking of it.
