Just to clarify, three do not have a roaming agreement with o2, they use orange for 2g coverage. Also, they do not have a 14 day return policy.
It is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

3 do have a 14 days return policy if ordered over the phone or the web, but a 3 day period if bought from a 3store I think. My upgrade had a card in the package that outlined their 14 day return policy/conditions.
The only catches were, you can't use the new sim and you can't customise the phone in anyway, so sort of negates the purpose of try before you buy. Most people get caught out by that and get lumbered with the contract as 3 will refuse the return if either condition is breached.

Why di people think it is for 'try before you buy'? It is a cooling off period.0 -

I can very rarely get a signal unless I am out and about in a main town or built up area, and never inside my work or home. I can hardly ever log into emails and stuff. The only thing I have had any luck on is ebay, but even that is a lucky connection most times.
I complained to 3 mobile but was fobbed off by them (we've got you now!).
Is there any way I break the contract for free, especially given that as far as I am concerned they are not providing a decent service?
DO NOT BUY OR USE 3 MOBILE. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.:mad:0 -
Can Anyone Help?
I upgraded my 3 contract in June, yesterday I noticed that my screen is damaged, I phoned up 3 who told me that I would need to buy a reconditioned phone ( My phone is a n96) at £400 or " go to the market and buy a cheap phone" I wasnt too impressed by this.
I was then put through to upgrades ( at the staff members insitance) where a female operator stated that if I paid £24 she would swap my contract and give me a sony Erikkison on roughly the same price, I went through the whole thing with her and she stated that the best way for me to continue was to take the new 18 month contract, which I agread.
About 10 minutes later three rang back and said they made a mistake and the contract would be £240 or I can cancel for £400.
Any ideas? Anyone?0 -
