Possible misprice Orion 32" LCD HD READY [CLOSED]

So, who still has an order in for this ?

My screen confirmation and email says LCD, but the online system says Sanyo.

If you check on the description on the Littlewoods page it has now changed to widescreen 32 " television, no mention of LCD / Plasma or HD.

I had email yesterday and they confirm it was mis print and was in fact sanyo 32in....and regarding contract they had taken my money.... was told to look again at terms and conditions....so have cancelled order !

Hi Lynn,

I'm just going to wait a few days, and see if there's any developments.

I checked my online statement and yes it does say "Sanyo TV" , but so far nothing from Littlewoods except the confirmation email saying "TV3200 HD LCD " etc. And they're supposed to send that when they "have safely processed your order" (their words!)
You'd think someone at Littlewoods would be contacting us with orders intact and confirmed as the LCD/Plasma, because the delivery, and then re-collection of this "misprint" is gonna be considerable!

From the T&C's, these are the relevant parts :

2.2 When you submit an order to us on our website you will receive a 'bounce back' confirmatory email of this order saying that we are processing your order. You will then receive a second email from us acknowledging your order and giving you estimated timescales for delivery. You should check both emails for accuracy and let us know immediately if there are any errors. Neither of these emails constitute acceptance of the order by us. Your order will be accepted by us (and a contract will then be formed between us) when we despatch the goods to you. Title to the goods will pass to you on delivery.

Which means to me, you don't have a contract until they despatch the goods.

And

3.2 Whilst it is our intention to keep our website up to date and error free, product description or pricing errors may occur. If we discover such an error after you have submitted an order to us, we will contact you prior to accepting your order with the correct details. You may then either cancel your order or re-confirm it based on the correct information. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order as cancelled.

So, the way I see it, once the goods are despatched you have your contract and providing they have not contacted you as per clause 3.2, then you'll get your LCD TV.

Has anyone heard anything? I have input the code but nothing comes up in the littlewoods page now. I can feel it slipping away worth a try i suppose. :rolleyes2

I ordered this TV to see what would happen, and like you all, I got the confirmation email ok, but in my account it said the Sanyo tv. I sent them this...

On checking, we find the website advertises the above as TV3200' 32-in HD
ready LCD plasma television. If you do receive an incorrect item, please
telephone 08457 888222 where an advisor will assist you further.

We look forward to seeing you on line soon!

I suppose we'll just have to wait n see... my hubby wont let me cancel the order, he reckons they wont confirm that they will have to provide the lcd tv cos it'll cost them, so are happier for us all to cancel. He reckons if we stand firm we'll get what we ordered!!!

Fingers crossed.... Who has the earliest delivery date? I have 29th May

I had by 29th May, but after they told me it was Sanyo I cancelled order...
