I already had, but thanks for the (unwanted) advice anyway :)

eerrrrr so why post about rear projection if you know the base is actualy approx 13" and not the depth of the TV?? also unwanted advice (bone picking) seems to be your forte not mine, just thought I'd have a go too. :)

    Yes correct.

That is the size of the TV fitted to the stand as shown in the picture.

13inches for the stand depth would be correct for an LCD TV.

If the stand was too slim, the TV would topple over if you pushed it lightly !

Because I went to Currys to check out a MSE tip that they had a 42" plasma TV for £800 recently. Noticed that in one section the prices seemed to be significantly lower, even for big brand names, and for some reason they had put all those cheaper TVs against a wall, instead of stuck out where you could walk all the way around them. Upon closer investigation I discovered that they were all much deeper than the more expensive ones, and that was because they were rear projection. Checked up on the 'net to find out why they're cheaper, generally people don't want one because the bulbs can cost three hundred quid to replace

It's not unreasonable to wonder if this (or any other) cheap TV is rear projection, and some people would consider it useful to be given that warning ;)

The fact it's 13" deep on the stand DOES NOT automatically mean it's not rear projection!

You're obviously entitled to your opinion but I have nothing to prove, and being thanked 124 times in 96 threads confirms that fortunately some forum members have found some of my posts useful

You clearly have issues, unfortunately none of which I can help with. This TV is clearly not rear projection, proved by the numerous posts about the model number, also if reflected thanks from other peoples finds makes you happy then carry on, but the constant bone picking of peoples punctuation, spelling and general grammer is irritating.

Sounds good to me, cheapest 32" at Currys at the moment seems to be £599, and this is significantly cheaper

Who hoo! Just ordered one of these bad boys and like the previous posters my order confirmation says 'TV3200' 32-in HD ready LCD plasma television PY8814 £323.20.

Delivery MAY 29th - must be bringing it round in a wheelbarrow!

Also hoping for Quidco to work it's mojo!

If it all comes off I will be a very happy easter bunny!

    We shall see.
