I need unlimited download/upload broadband, at least 1MB, preferably 2MB for under £20 a month (cheaper the better).
At the minute im looking at Tiscali as the main option (2MB unlimited £17.99)?
Can anybody recommend anybody else? Or reasons not to go with tiscali?

Think again! Tiscali does NOT offer unlimited downloads. Read the small print.
:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

Anybody know what Tiscali class as being acceptable under their fair usage guidelines? 2 People telling me what companies not to go with but none advising any good ones? There must be some good ones??0

NTL are offering 1mb unlimited for £8.99 for three months.
Probably have another deal for 2mb but I can't see it, just need to look a bit more.0 -
Tiscali is unlimited so a certain amount suspect download limit is somewhere near 40Gb a month.
Thats alot of space unless your P2P all the time.0 -
I believe it's 30GB / month."Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect." - Mark Twain0

https://www.ukfsn.org offer 30 Gb peak time, 300Gb offpeak (peak 8am - 10pm mon - friday)
at up to 8Mbps. You simply WILL NOT get truly unlimited broadband for £20 per month, as it costs far more than this to the ISP to provide it.I'm an Investment Manager. Any comments I make on this board should be not be construed as advice, and are for general information purposes only.0 -

Not a great deal of space for an unlimited service......
How on earth can they advertise as unlimted and openly show that it has a limit?0 -
Hi
Nidram and f2s £23.99 up to 8mb speeds, 50gb download limit, with f2s you pay another £6 for 100gb download limit, but throttling and line shaping for p2p. Between the hours of 1am-6am, anything downloaded is free, not counted against you.
I'm with f2s at the moment but considering changing to nidram.
I honestly don't think your going to get unlimited for £20, but if you find one let me know.
And I would never recommend Tiscali.
Cheap is not always the best.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention both 1mth contracts, so if you don't like, you can get out.
Hope this helps0 -
