Mine has always been really supportive because his mum has been a long-time crossword comper and she has won some serious cash and book tokens over the years. So when I said I was entering competitions he was pretty supportive. Like others have said, when we're out shopping he'll point out competitions posted and I just tell him I've already entered that :D

My OH used to winge about me being on the PC all the time and never winning anything for him. That was until I won some cash from the Magnum comp and got him his PS3 :D. Now he's a happy man and always encourages me to enter more - bleeding cheeky!! He plays that all night while I comp! A perfect relationship me thinks.... He even brings me home comps to enter that he has spotted while on the road!!!

My OH moans about the amount of time I spend online in the evenings.
I'm only either trying to flog things on Ebay, or entering lots of comps to hopefully win something we really need that we can't afford atm.

A cash win or holiday would be nice :D
Or even a Nokia 5800(Bloody Pepsi!!! Don't get me started!).
But I'd be really happy to win a pushchair or something for when we have baby no 2 next year. :)

Unfortunately, I haven't won any of that yet. Or even come close.
I'm still gonna keep doing it though. Regardless of a moaning OH.
The only time I don't hear him moan is when Top Gear is on!!!

It wasn't just my wife who moaned and thought I was sad that I spent too much time doing comps - my family and friends thought I was sad too.

You soon shut them up when you win bigger prizes (especially ones that you wanted!) - now they are all asking where I enter all my comps!

Although my wife was right that I was becoming obsessed with entering so I just enter them during the week now and stay away at the weekends.

My oh used to moan, until I won a tv, £3700 worth of floor covering, mobile phone, sat nav etc, etc. Actively encourages me now - other family thought I was stupid as well, especially sil. Not any more.
I've got a bit bored with doing them lately, but not telling them that.
