Oh yeah I think we all suffer...as regards to our OH's...that is until we win something they like/want! Now all I get is 'what have you won today'. I say well It's not quite as simple as that.....!

I am so with you on this - I only started comping in May (when I went on maternity leave and was being driven MAD by my two year old!) and my OH used to roll his eyes at me every time I got on the laptop and (worse) every time someone came round he'd tell them what I was doing (in a way that implied I had no life!). Then the Pepsi comp came along and I won him a phone. Ever since then he breaks his neck to find a competition whenever we are out (and I can smugly inform him that thanks to you guys I have already entered he he he). Thanks again to all the OP's!!! :D:D:D

This thread made me smile :) My DH never moaned, I started comping when I first got CFS/ME so it became my new 'job' and gave me focus as I'd had to stop working. DH was happy as it kept me busy and wins were a huge bonus. Now of course he likes me to be up-to-date with the comps lol :D

haha, I'm exactly the same, I got complaints that I was permanently glued to the laptop (I tried arguing whats the difference between doing this and watching the tv like you're doing - at least I might get something out of it - but to no avail) which continued until recently. Now mum's mysteriously gone quiet since she's got a drawer full of expensive smellies and a digital radio, and now sis has a free phone, she wants in on the act. She announced one morning that she'd been entering comps here, and couldn't understand when I had a bit of a flaky until I explained many comps were one entry per household  :D

so don't worry just win him some things and he'll come round ;)

Thats me and my Dp to a T! He says my 'tappety tapping' (typing :rotfl:) drives him nuts while he's watching TV so I tell him the TV drives me nuts while I'm typing!!! :rotfl:He's still a bit sceptical, as my wins have been smallish - tickets, books etc but he'll change his tune when a biggie comes. He definitely doesn't understand the buzz that still comes from winning something small and useless that I'd never buy myself!
Thanks to all who post comps!

lol my husband has the lovely view of the back of my head most evenings, but he don't mind, he is cool with me comping as it stops me nagging him to turn the tv over and i have won some lovely prizes which makes us both happy :T
