Candygirl - lovely to see you back again, hope that you are recovering well and that your family are doing well xxx
Sistercas - I laughed too, a lot, when he fell through, and could hardly drive him to the hospital for laughing, I was crying cos I was laughing so hard! Bless him, not quite so funny when it still hurt 3 weeks later! Still got a nice new en suite now! x
N9eav - my veg have been a bit hit and miss too, my toms are only just coming into flower, keeping my fingers crossed that it'll be like last year and they'll still be cropping in November!
Bitsy - looking forward to seeing the pics, shame about the crowds and weather! x
Penpin - sorry to hear your hol wasn't as relaxing as it could've been, but at least the local hospital sound like they were helpful. Yes please to the pics of your new baby, bet you're having lots of fun. And well done on your essay xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Morning, not posted for a while, but I do read through most days.
Redruby, your DD's hair might not return to its natural shade  Is it a semi-permanent colour? I think it was Pooky who let her girls have some streaks done in a semi colour and she had to write to school to explain why their hair was still streaked after the holidays. Reds are epecially prone to leaching the colour, so make sure she uses dark towels after washing her hair every time.
Miss Twit has gone blonde with pink at the front, the change was quite a shock, but it does suit her.
Hope Haribo enjoyed her trip and that Dtwin's leg is healing well.

Hi everyone,
Once again I am posting and apologising for not being around much. We're at the end of the fourth week of the school holidays here so I've been spending a lot of time with the children but I've got a couple of hours to myself today so thought I'd say 'hello'. I love the lack of routine in the holidays but I do envy you all having a six week summer break....nine weeks is just a little too much.
Belated Happy Birthday to all the recent birthday girls. I can't believe that four of you share the same birthday! So, Snowy, Taplady, Hermione, sunnygirl, patchwork cat and especially my lovely sister Haribojunkie, I hope you all had great days. It makes me feel old that I can remember Dad coming home from the hospital to tell us Haribo had arrived safely and as he and mum hadn't decided on a name yet the midwives had named her 'rosebud' because she was so beautiful. I also remember carrying her and dropping her on her head shortly afterwards. Which may explain a lot!
Squigly, congratulations on your graduation!
Churchie, I hope you son is now fully recovered.
Sunnygirl, I hope you are feeling a bit better now too.
Penny Pincher, Sorry you weren't feeling well over your holiday but hope you're on the mend now.
Ruby, Is the little dog any better?
Aussie, Hope all is well with you and that dh will be happy in his new job. I think anyone who knows you knows your admirable ethical stance on things.
FairyElephant, so glad things are going well for you.
Sorry there must be so many people I've missed, but my mind's gone blank.
I was up early and out to work this morning....it felt like an easy morning because the sun was shining. Out again at lunchtime but now I have a few hours to myself before the night calls. Ds1 has gone to a bbq and Mr Pink has taken ds2 out to fly his kite and dd is working at her summer job, so I thought I'd have a potter in the garden and pick my blackcurrants to make some jam. It's glorious sunny but windy drying weather here so I have two loads of washing on the line. Tea tonight was supposed to be chicken, broccoli and pasta bake but as the weather is so good we've deferred that until tomorrow and are going to have a barbeque instead.
Hope everyone else is having a good day too.

Afternoon all,
well weather here has been lovely all day, our picnic is made and the wine is chilled so ready for our evening of culture (well drinking to nice music!!) lol:rotfl::rotfl:
Mummysaver your DD might not be exaggerating (SP?) we were in Spain 10 days ago for a fortnight and the weather was over 40 degrees then and they were actually forecasting a 50 heat wave but did say August - it might have come early. Either way it was too hot for sun bathing when we were there and just nice for swimming and sitting in shade with lots of cool drinks. Plenty of high factor suntan lotion needed!!
Hope you all have a nice evening
x"Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you are up to........"Dieting ........... is no piece of cake!!!!:D

Ok I am panicking now , I think its a permanant colour, I knew it would take a while to grow out, but I thought it would return to its natural shade ???? think I need to do a bit of research first.
Pink thanks for asking, little dog is fine, she has always been ok in herself, it is the vet saying she might need this op in the futurewill see whaat she says in a month, hope all is well with you x

Ruby, has she done it already? If not stop her and show her these posts and any research you can find. Red really is hard to shift even if it's a semi-permanent colour. If it's not too late let me know and I'll try to find some info for you.
